I believe I have figured out some basic characteristics of the dragonfly as well as her special power. This is just my interpretation so bear with me. If anybody has other ideas let's hear them.
Dragonfly
The dragonfly is a complicated insect. She is quick yet acutely attentive and never stays still too long. She is friendly and has a good nature. Dragonfly eats a lot of bad bugs (as do spiders) like flies, mosquitos, and crickets. She loves to be by ponds and creeks.
The special power of dragonfly is her ability to spy on people. She even has some telepathic powers. She knows many secrets about humans and their desires.
Interesting Fact - Eyesight
Another reason I think they are good spies is because of their keen eyesight.
Dragonflies are visual hunters and have impressive vision being able to see in colour as well as ultraviolet light and polarised light, which enables them to see reflections of light on water.
Their large compound eyes are made up of as many as 30,000 facets or lenses (ommatidia). Those in the upper part looking forward are usually larger and more numerous that those elsewhere providing the area of best visual acuity. This is why dragonflies usually approach prey from behind and below.
