Just for the fun of it I will relate two dreams I have all the time and give their interpretations myself. I know exactly what they mean to me although I welcome additional comments.
I am living in an incredible old run down house that should not even be there with one or two persons that should not even still be alive. I am more or less powerless to intervene. It goes on and on defying that fact it can't even exist in the first place.
Interpretation: I had some family responsibilities that were hard but everyone did their best and when it was over I buried the dead; sold the house which was later bull dozed and made a new life for myself. But the memories never die and what was ten or twenty years ago is just as fresh in my memory as what happened 30 seconds ago. Living in the PRESENT is surprising hard and when asleep my subconscious does betray me.
Next dream. I am in school and trying to excel but sometimes I can't even hardly remember my own name; the words in the books become just pictures of things like snakes and birds; I don't show up for class because I don't even remember enrolling in it! I want to complain I am very old and sick but I don't want to quit either. Or I am in High School for the second time as an adult because of some mistake. I am wondering what will happen when they try to give my diploma and discover I already got one years ago.
Interpretation: as kids we naturally go thru scary bouts of trails and test of things we don't know if we can handle. We grow up and gain self confidence. But if our accomplishments as adults as so much lower then our expectations as kids we feel a constant need to remain in the race to try to prove ourselves. We go to sleep at night with thoughts of strife and conquest and only when we awaken does it come back we are too old and frail to actually go out slaying dragons anymore
Prologue dream: Huey Louie and Dewey Duck are asked about Witch Hazel and they reply that is no problem because they brought or bought her over to their side. Then the conversation asks how they would fare against going up against Satan and the Anti-Christ. The little ducklings are stunned and immediately the fight starts with explosions and fireworks.
Interpretation: NONE. I still think Carl Barks was a genius. The Walt Disney comic books he created were so much fun and dreams could be too if only we didn't need to take then so seriously sometimes. Or mayby it is the other way around.
I shudder to think what that thought will cause me to dream tonight.
P.S. that dream was in technicolor but I never got to see the ending and I am not loosing any sleep over that!
