I recall a snippet of a dream just before I was awakened from a nap: I was on a round deck with like a round house structure in the middle. Not a huge deck nor structure, but there were others there so it was like maybe part of a recreation area or such, though it seems it was elevated. I looked up at a man, seeing his face, he had a goatee - so I was definitely looking up from a lower position as if sitting on the deck - I distinctly was thinking to myself during this scene that I knew this person but did not know he was a police officer. He was dressed like in a sweater and pants with a utility belt versus a usual police uniform. Then I heard a group of children running, but they were out of my sight. I reached down to purposefully touch the deck to feel the vibrations of their feet contacting the deck as the group of them ran. As I pressed upon the deck it was covered with a sponge-like material (like in a kid's playground so if they fall they aren't hurt) - and I pressed hard against the material so as to press down far enough to feel the vibration in the hard deck below. I looked up at the man again, and said, "I can feel them."

The "Plus" part I was wondering if you could comment on. For quite a while I will find a coin(s) on my daily walks. I have always seen this as confirmation that I am, in fact, on the "right path". Lately, though, I have been finding feathers of various sizes and colors. A lot of my daily walks are on concrete sidewalks and I find them there, but also on grassy areas and in one kinda wild natural park (not manicured grass and such, but just natural as Nature made it). And really recently, like the past 2 weeks I have been finding a LOT of them. And I only "count" the ones exactly directly in my walking path - if one is to the side I don't count it. And I have been saving them. As to the coins: one day last week, in the natural park I came across a circle of pennies on the sandy ground - 5 or 6 of them. (I did not pay attention to how many heads/tails). I hope I have not asked for too much information. Thank-you very much, Kaz ~ Ricky

I'm not used to interpreting dreams, but I read yours and something told me to respond. I hope that it helps in some way.

I feel that the deck in your dream represented a spiritual dimension, perhaps the one we live in now (or maybe not). I think the children represented our spirits. The sponge-like material preventing the children from getting hurt in your dream was probably a message that no matter what happens in this world or in our dimension, our souls survive and we can't "really" get hurt. We have protection. The part where you pressed your ear to the material and felt the vibration is likely further confirmation that this dream had something to do with dimensions, because each dimension has a certain vibration.

Please keep in mind that dreams can be interpreted multiple ways and mine is only one. Only take from its whats useful for you and discard the rest. I hope this helps.

As far as finding feathers wherever you go, in your waking life, this could be a sign that your angels (guardian angels) are protecting you and making themselves known to you. I've experienced finding feathers in seemingly random places after I had been reading about guardian angels and asked for a sign. You seem to be finding a lot of them, so they must really be trying to get your attention. I don't know if what Im saying resonates with you or not, but if it does, you may want to do some research/ read a book on the topic guardian angels.

Hi Ricky,

In dream symbolism, a house represents the SELF, you the dreamer. Where you are in the house, its rooms all represent facets of the self and your life.

What stands out for you is that your house is round a circle. Circles represent wholeness, completeness; no beginning and no end; infinity. The circle may mean you have completed a cycle, or have grown into a wholeness of body, mind and spirit. This is very powerful Ricky.

The main part of it that you relate too was raised. So for me this would indicate that it is connected to your higher self, or higher consciousness. Which fits in with the overall symbology to this point.

In the dream there are other people there. In dream symbology people or characters in our dreams all represent aspects of the dreamer. On another level, it would indicate that you are sharing with others, being part of a group of people who are at a similar level or conscious awareness. If not already sharing in this way, it could be the dream is highlighting your desire/need to do this.

You hear the others but you do not see them. In life do you tend to make snap judgments about people on a superficial basis and have an impatience with regard to looking closer. To really seeing them. This can sometimes happen if we are not interacting with others who we feel do not share our spiritual interests. Or have the same understanding or insight about the world as we do. Or without realising it, we are so certain that we know better then others we stop looking. I am not saying this is so with you Ricky, just offering you something to think about!

You look up and see a man with a goatee beard. Looking upward would indicate a teacher, student position. This man an aspect of you can be your inner teacher, your higher self. On another level, he may be a spirit teacher or guide, who has come to share with you and guide you on your spiritual path. You say, you know he is a policeman although he is not dressed like you. Often this happens in dreams. A combination of visual information and inner knowing.

In dream symbolism a policeman represents help available and guidance. So again for me this is a re affirmation that he is a teacher/guide. Only you know if this is meaningful for you Ricky, as this is your dream, and ultimately you know its meaning.

In the dream you say you hear a group of children running. Children in dream symbology represent the childlike aspects of the dreamer. Aspects such as vulnerability, innocence, openness, flexibility and playfulness. Sometimes we see or hear children in dreams as a reminder to us to remember the child part of self when we have become too serious in life and would benefit from reconnecting with this aspect of the self.

Have you become too serious, have you forgotten how to relax and play. We often forget, that a child has a pure and simple approach to life an appreciation of the world and sees much that is deep and profound. As the old saying goes 'out of the mouths of babes, comes much wisdom'. It is also important to have balance. The inner and the outer world both have merit, both have much to impart. If you work with children or young people. Continually having to take on the role of parent or guide yourself can also make someone very serious and feel they have to behave in that way all the time, forgetting that they also need to be able to connect with this aspect of themselves.

You touch the surface of the deck and can 'feel' the vibration of the children. Is about connecting to that aspect of yourself, but also is a reaffirmation, if one were needed by you that you are sensitive to the vibrations of energy. Not just your own energy or the energy of the earth, but the energies of other life forms. Man, women, child, animal and the natural world.

A lovely dream Ricky, showing you that you are growing and evolving. There is already a wholeness to your life, to your inner world. A gentle reminder, to listen more to your higher self or wise teacher/guide within. To rediscover your innocence, playfulness and child-like wonder.

I agree with Clara's well put explanation about the feathers you have been finding, so there is no need for me to add to this. With regard to the coins, although this is not a dream I do believe that the symbolism in dreams can be related to seeing signs in our waking life. Coins or money are connected to changes that are coming into our lives. If it is small coins, it would indicate small changes. So be aware, be open to change and the opportunities they bring. The number of coins can have meaning too. So to date, how many coins have you found.
