What is the prerequisite for living a spiritual life and for the progression forward:
Always be aware of your words, thoughts and actions, and control them until you win over them. This, is the way of a spiritual person.
How can anyone say they are a spiritual person if they do not try to control their words or even their very own thoughts. Your words can either cause great harm and mental unrest or they can win you God’s Grace. Its how you use your words that matter. The other day while busy I heard a voice from an unseen visitor say; (YOUR EFFORTS NEVER GO UNNOTICED). These words are meant for everyone not just myself. When we begin to better ourselves by ridding the bad qualities within, we then win the attention from those in spirit who can greatly help us. Not only this, but we win the grace of God.
Once you win God’s grace things begin to move – faster and for the better.

Hi Neon, Beautifully said, I can tell you have given a lot of thought to it. I believe, our every waking moment is one to be lived as spiritually minded as we can. We are not perfect, far from it. But there is a lot to be said I believe, for always trying our best, even if we make mistakes. It is the intention behind our actions that is important, even if at times they don't always work out as we had hoped. Words do have tremendous power. A careless un-thought out word, can cut someone like a knife. It can rob them of their self respect and self esteem. What only takes a moment to do, can affect someone for a lifetime, and even a sorry, cannot take back the damage that moment has caused. For deep inside, there will always be a part of someone who wonders, if what was said was the truth. I try very hard, to think before I speak as I am sure many do. But we have all said things we regret, and felt the remorse of it. I take those feelings of remorse, and I remember them. By holding on to them, it holds my tongue! By holding on to our tongues, we listen more don't you think? I believe that God or the Creator however the divine manifests itself to you, is well aware of us. Like any father I feel he is sad when we are sad, he feels our pain and rejoices with us, when we get things right. It is all a learning curve isn't it. I try to walk my spirituality every day, and even if I only get it right a fraction of the time, I believe I am making progress. But how the universe likes to trip us up, when I feel as if I am finally getting it, or making progress, something usually happens to show me I still have a very long way to go. Don't you just love how we are brought down to earth with a big bump. Thank you so much for sharing. Love and light Kaz
