Dream about a car

I'm not going to go into every detail of the dream, but this whole week I been having the same dream. Me in car driving to re charge my ezpass or my ecard. Then I couldnt control the car. The car would spin and change lanes. I drove the wrong way. I was very frustrated. I constantly said that I didnt know where to go and where to drive. In one moment of the dream the car starts driving by itself and I felt I was in a rollercoaster. That part felt kind of better because the car was driving by itself.

I felt the car was an suv, but at one moment of my dream I saw a silver smartcar...

What this means... I keep dreaming the same thing every night !!

I'm no expert in dream interpretation and you may need to refer to your own instincts, but from what you described it seems like the car represents your life. You struggling to control the car reveals your need to be in control of every aspect of your life. The moment you let go of control, its scary and it seems like a roller coaster. Afterwards you relax and feel better. That part represents you letting yourself be guided by a higher force, maybe your higher self. This is my interpretation.

Firstly, when we have a repetitive dream, it indicates that there is a very important message for you within the dream. The dream will keep on repeating, until you finally 'get it'.

Cars in dream symbolism as Clara pointed out represent your daily physical life. Your personal energy. The bigger the car, the more potential you have to manifest in your life and the amount of energy you have available to you. Did you notice the colour and shape of the car, as this too can tell us something about you the dreamer.

If you are going uphill, you are going in the right direction, if you go downhill you are going in the wrong direction. If it is erratic then your energies are scattered and you are confused and unsure of what you are doing. In the dream, you were being erratic, so I think that speaks for itself.

If you are driving, then it would indicate that you are in the driving seat of your life, in control. But in the dream you say that you are not in control. The car keeps spinning and changing lanes and going the wrong way. Now to me this is saying that although no one else is driving the car, so another person is not controlling you. You yourself are allowing things to spin out of control in your own life.

In life have you been under a lot of emotional stress. Or have you been feeling, that life is not going in the way you want it too? Have you been prone to acting on impulse without thinking things through, or making irrational and unthought out decisions?

Driving the wrong way usually indicates that you are not able to progress as you would like, or that a lot of what you are attempting to do in life is not working out. You are frustrated. In life do you feel frustrated? You do not know where to go and where to drive. In life, are you experiencing uncertainty and indecisiveness? Can you see where I am going with this?

Allow things to happen naturally, without trying to force it. Often when we try to force something to happen in life that is not right for us, then it just does not happen.
