What is the significance of 111111?

I keep seeing the number 1 everywhere! Like I'll look at the clock and it's 11:11 am or even 11:11pm. I just made my 111th post (well before this one lol).

Does seeing 1s mean anything? I was once told if I keep seeing 1 that means good fortune is coming my way lol. I don't know if I necessary believe that, however...I've heard that God was very specific with numbers. Like even with the number of books in the bible, they have a significant number meaning.

What is the whole deal with numbers? Why are they looked at as being a very significant part in our lives (besides the obvious counting part lol).

Does anyone believe in that numbers play a very strong role in our understanding of life and living it? Once again I'm not referring to the fact that we need numbers to count and buy things lol ;D I'm more so, referring to adding the numbers of the day you were born and finding significance in it or like I stated earlier seeing a certain number all of the time. God's use of numbers with certain things (ie the bible) etc.

I once had a numerology reading on me based on very little but my name and birthdate. It was uncanny. Disturbingly so. Not so much phychic or prophetic. Just what I was thinking myself as to what or where I might be or should be heading.

All this from some one that I had never met.

Odd how the ancient Hebrew language had numbers and letters as the same and now we are in the digital age and can reduce a lot of things like music and images into binary codes which is nothing more then numbers based on 0 and 1.

A mental retard - actually an idiot savant - can sometims easily see mathematical progressions that the average person is incapable of dealing with without machines or calculators. Like some people can do computer programing and realistically most can not ( unless you want a huge spitting headache).

So I would not discount finding numbers intriguiging or even haunting. It is just that most human beings, including myself, do a lot better in remembering pictures rather then formulars and number sequencies.

I've written a few posts regarding numbers and what they mean. I will link to them at the bottom of this post.

Numbers are the language of the universe. Everything can be reduced to a number….having said that, we have to keep in mind that numerals (1,2,3, etc) are symbols of the number. Numbers themselves are vibrational, so the numerals are used to describe the vibrations.

Looking at the deeper meanings of numbers has been around for hmmm eons? Ages?... lol … and there are many different ways of looking at those meanings. Numbers do play a big part in scriptures and in many cultures.

There are also many systems of what most understand as numerology… numerology meaning the study of numbers… Numerology can be used much like Astrology to get to know yourself, through numerology readings… but it goes even deeper than that as does Astrology. There are many books, and websites that talk about numerology and numbers in general. The topic is fascinating and deep for those interested in… below you’ll find some very good threads regarding numbers and how they play a part in our lives… enjoy them and don’t hesitate to add your own thoughts to them.

Thank Gruntal and Silvia. Gruntal when you mentioned binary codes it took me back to some of the discussions in the chat room about that. I forgot all about binary codes...so I guess that would show how significant numbers are.

Silvia, numbers having vibrations? That's interesting! I've since learned from you and the others that vibrations play a intricate role in the universe and creating. Thanks for the insight.

The number one for me is a starter number. The first step of the journey. If the number one keeps coming up, it is to tell you that you are heading in the right direction. There is still a long way to go, but the path is being made clear for you to step forward to follow your dreams, or to go in the direction of your most dominant thoughts.
