Dear Friends.
God bless you all..
Leon.
It has been a while since I spoke to all of you. So I thought I would write you all a letter to find out how you are doing in Heaven. I will try to address as many of you as I can, if you do not see your name it does not mean I do not send you my love.
Firstly I must ask how my Grandma Lucy is doing. Have you manged to find a nice chair up there, somewhere nice and cosy, so you can sit and drink your tea. Are you still making those lovely pies for everyone up there. I hope it is to your suiting Nan, I do miss you down here, but I will come to visit one day don't you worry.
Grandad Jim, I do not remember you so well as my Nan, but the more I read about you, the more I see similarities with myself. They all say you was a gentleman, gentleman Jim was the nickname was it not. Well I hope others see me as that as well. By all accounts you could be equally loving as strong. That does sound a bit like me Grandad. I do hope you are looking after my Nan. You know she loves day trips out. I am sure there are plenty of sights to see in Heaven.
Grandad Leonard, It has not been so long since you went away, I know my Nan still misses you on earth, she has not been very well as you know since you left. Neither has my Dad, he has been worried over everyone you know. I bet it was strange seeing Jessie and Ben so soon as you got there as well. It must have felt like a family reunion. We all send you our love and hope you have settled in more by the next time we speak.
Uncle Sam and Auntie Edna, I have a secret to tell, which you probably know. I read your love letters that you left behind. I read the letters you sent Edna while you was abroad working, they was lovely Sam, you missed the simple things just like I would, you even missed my Nan's cooking, that made me smile. I know you two are for eternity and you are in the best place to find peace. I know it was hard for both of you, the last few years here. But I know God is looking after you now, so all is good.
Ronald or Ron should I say as I only ever called you Ron. I really miss you. Probably one of the few people on earth I really looked up to, though sometimes probably for the wrong reasons, but you taught me how to be a man, how to be kind and generous and strong when I have to be. I know you are probably on some fiddle with God up there, it would be unlike you not to be giving the big man backhanders, so while you are at it can you get him to answer a few prayers for us guys left on earth.
I must go now but could you all keep an eye on my dog Cassie, I know she has been a bit lonely without me. Please Lucy let her sit on the sofa with you, all she wants is a big cuddle.
