Dreaming about the Devil...

OK I have a dream that needs deciphering.

I can not remember most of the dream so I will tell you what I can remember.

It began as I am visited by a family member(cousin). He started acting weird and had a weird look in his face. ( I forgot what happened after this so I will skip to the good part )

Next I performed an exorcism to remove the devil from him. He wasn't saying to much just grunted and made faces.

After this part he returns to normal and he told me that we had to put stars on the ground around the room to prevent the devil from coming back.

Then I woke up still in my dream and I found myself unable to move and I heard his voice calling my name and I thought to myself that he was still possess with the devil. I felt something inside my shoulder blade. I somehow knew that it was a pair a scissors. Next I heard the voice change and it sounded much darker( I thought that it was the devil). I felt it on top of me. He started to say something but I can not remember.

Then I woke up and instead of feeling fearful I felt calm.

When we dream of family members, its about bringing together within ourselves the different roles they represent. For example, to dream of your father would be about using more within yourself a wiser, older masculine energy. In the dream the cousin acts weird and his face looks odd. This I feel indicates anxiety. Fear creates distortion and makes you feel uneasy. Is there a part of yourself that you are afraid of or makes you feel uneasy? In the dream you perform an exorcism. To dream that you or others are being exorcised symbolises your initiative to regain control and take steps toward the direction of your goals.

This is showing me, that in your waking time, you are trying to take control of your own life and make things better. You are working towards resolving your own problems. Being proactive, rather then allowing circumstances or your feelings and emotions to overtake you. Does this make sense to you Keenen?

When we dream about the Devil, it is connected to the lower, ignorant side of the self. The side of us that tempts us to get into trouble or to do things which we know are not right. Its the side of us, that will not accept self responsibility for our actions, the side of us that blames others when we make mistakes, or life does not go well. Its the side of us that thinks to much about negative things.

For me the fact that you exorcised this 'devil' in your dream is extremely positive Keenen. It shows you are working on creating a positive mindset for yourself. That you want to take responsibility for your actions and you are working on your own healing and life, not leaving it up to others to make decisions for you, or blaming them when things do not turn out as you had hoped.

Stars in dream symbology represent Light, direction, guidance and insight. Uplifting of spiritual insight and vision. Powerful energy, clarity to achieve your goals. It is also the symbol of the inner light that shines forth in the darkness. The light and truth of your being. Which is beautiful Keenan, and which shows me that your higher self is guiding you. It was this that used the star symbolism in your dream, to show you, that you are a perfect soul with a bright light and have no reason to fear the darkness. You have the strength and light within yourself to move forward with your life and achieve all your goals. Just trust in this and in yourself.

My cousin is younger than me. Well what I like about me cousin is that like most people in my family he is light-hearted and funny. But him and some other people I find it hard to communicate with and enjoy their company.

Part of me that I fear would be the part that sins or would be associated with the devil. I fear making mistakes. I fear being in public situations. Usual I find it hard to communicate with people and I end up holding back what I say or do. I always try to be perfect without making mistakes.

I recently made more efforts to be more holy and please God. I pray and try to read the bible. I watch religious channels and try to stay away from things that I know wouldn't please God. Though I find it hard to help others face to face because of my fear of being around the public.
