On My Birthday I had 2 Dreams

Hello All,

Well I guess my subconscious' gift to me on my birthday was communication! Since I had 2 dreams that night that I actually remembered.

So I'm going to post them both in one post since I had them the same night.

I welcome and thank you in advance for any input that you might have.

Dream 1
My husband was in this one. I don't remember a lot but we were somewhere. Maybe on a cruise ship or in a mansion because it had two sides and many rooms. I believe at the beginning we were together and we were happy. Kids were around. I believe we all wore white. The thing about it is that there were drugs (marijuana) I don't know if he (or we maybe) was growing and distributing, growing for personal use but there was a lot on his side. There was a little on my side (I don't use drug in real life).

I remember a lot of people being around us (I believe family and friends maybe). So Dave (my husband) started to have problems. Before he would be on my side of the building with my people for a little while and then go back to his side for a little while. But after the problems he announces he's not coming back to my side I plead with him and he says no. So after a little while I would see him on my side I wondered why he was over with me but didn't say much. I remember he said stuff but I can't remember what.

But then I remember the marijuana was placed on both my side and his side. The cops (maybe even federal agents) broke in. They knew we had it and was looking for it. I was able to get rid of the little bit I had so it was no problem for me and my people. But I wanted to try and go get rid of what he had to keep him from getting busted. While the agents were on my side I leave and sneak to his side I get to his marijuana.... but I can't remember what happened after that.

I woke up scared! I probably woke up from this dream around 2:46 am CST.

Dream 2

Drove short distant supposed to be Indiana but ended up in Michigan (which I farther) instead. I remember us all laughing saying how did we get all the way to michigan that quickly. It was four women (including myself) in the car. They were all beautiful and successful. I believee I felt intimidated being with them. We were in a beige luxury car (I believe it was lexxus...the big one) and immediatey pulled up to the place we were going. It was a lasalle bank (I used to bank at lasalle when I had my mortgage and got special treatment because of the high amount of money I'd deposit) instead of parking in the parking lot she just pulled up in front of the bank in the street where cars had to go around.

Me another lady got out of the car and went into the bank. The bank was made of biege bricks and the interior inside was biege. I remember one of the women being an old friend Andrea that I don't talk to anymore. Anyway I needed a debit/credit card. I now remember that I was standing in line and the person in front of me and in back of me was the same person. She was a pretty dark skinned black lady with strong features. She was dressed in a beige sleeveless pants suit. She worked for the bank.

The one in front of me had just gotten a debit/card. The lady behind the counter was giving her a free gift it was a red plastic (with some type cartoon character...I think CARS the movie) kids bowl and plate set. I remember seeing her carefully placing it in the bag and closing it up. I ask the employee behind me is it hard to get a debit/credit card I told her what I had already and she thought I'd get one. But I didn't. I think the employee who was behind the counter came around and told me I was declined. I was just about to asked her to do it again but the employee behind me suggested this other bank might be better and I realized that's the one we were trying to find so we leave.

We get outside but now outside is this big huge open indoor area. I remember seeing grey on the walls but I'm not sure. There are a lot of people around but we had our own space. There were chairs in a cirlcle. I belonged to this club of women. I believe they were all pretty succesful. I think we all wore a uniform but it was really pretty mauve and biege I believe.

We all had a lot of kids with us. The older kids went off elsewhere and we kept the younger kids with us sitting in chairs. One of the members said we need to show support for I believe a club member's daughter who was having a huge sweet sixteen party. She had photos out from her 15th birthday and members were confused about it being the 16th because her 15th was so big. And she wore lace by Ori or Ari or something like that. And I remember a member saying "she (the daughter) always wears Ori (or Ari) lace for her birthday.

1st Dream.

In this dream you are with your husband. Husbands in dream symbology represent our own masculine energy. People who appear in our dreams are ultimately all aspects of ourselves. Qualities and traits you admire in your ideal male, your perception of him.

Drugs are used as a means of escaping from life. Numbing the user from the realities of life or dealing with it. Looking for answers to problems without rather then within. This can be seen in daily behaviour, by either you or people around you refusing to accept the reality of a life situation, or running away from it. You say, that you use a little but your partner used a lot. In life, did you find that you tended to want to tackle problems and sort out issues, more readily then your partner did. Did you tend to see what was happening more clearly then he did? Did you use distractions to focus your attention away from problems, or did he? Can you see where I am going with this? Only you know if this is meaningful to you.

Hi Kaz,

Thank you so much for your interpretation. A lot of it was spot on as always!

With regards to my husband being in my dream...this dream. I'm not sure about him having aspects I admire. There's really nothing about him that I want to aspire to have. ;D I will say that he has since been in a lot of my dreams. One of which (which I didn't journal) was him asking me in an "intimate moment" if I would like to try and work things out because he sincerely does. I don't know if that's just wishful thinking on my part or my self counscious telling me he's regretting his actions. In defense of me saying this I will say prior to us seperating my dreams kept telling me that we were going to seperate but I kept ignoring them. Ok enough said about that lol.

I think back to the part as to whether I was on a ship or in a house. I still can't quite get the feeling as to which it was. It almost felt like a ship in the beginning and then by the time the feds came in it was a house. I don't know if that helps or not. But I would like to think it was a ship becauseof where I am right now. I am feeling and accessing alot of energy to manifest some things in my life. And since that was a couple of weeks before when I dreamed that I might want to believe that was a ship I dreamed I was on.

I believe the childishness that you referred to came from my husband. He had very child like tendencies. Not wanting to work when he was tired. Never taking anything seriously. And us together had a very childlike playfulness with each other. But we also fought like children so that could be what's that representing. And yes I probably still have a child like niaviety (sp) for him with regards to our lack of relationship.

Regarding the white, yes that is spot on! I did feel as you described in your interpretation.

With regards to drugs yes that is also spot on. I was the one that had control over our money and while he wanted to blow it I would be the one to hold on to so we would have money. It came to a point where he stopped letting me control money and then thats where our money troubles definitely started happening. We never had money because he would blow it all. When it came time for rent he was scrambling to get it because all of the money would have been spent up. Its also the time when he started staying out late and spending his money drinking in bars and "playing pool" as he would tell me. I spent my time making sure we had food and gas for the cars and keeping the utilities on. So yes that makes a lot of sense to me. He also could be using drugs right now (smoking marijuana) to escape how he's feeling. When I talked to him a couple of months ago he told me he was battling depression.

With regards to the family reference. Im not sure. I don't know if he felt torn or not. Maybe his ex wife (wives) thought he shouldn't be with me and one or both were voicing their opinion about it. I'm not sure. And yes he would have felt loyality towards those 2 because they both have his children. I know it came to a point that his 2nd wife may or may not have told David to not let their 8 yr old around me. I felt like she thought because me and David were having problems that I might hurt her son. Which of course would never had happened. I remember a time when I asked my husband if I could David Jr. to church with me and my daughter (which was very normal) and he told me no. I was a little taken aback about it because that was something the 3 of us would do every other Sunday when we had him. And while we were still living together when he would get his son every other weekend he would send him to his first wife's house while he was working instead of letting him stay with me and Jordan. I couldn't understand why he would do that because his first wife is on medication for her mental and physical disorders. I would ask myself why did he have his son with a woman that HE told me was crazy. Now I'm wondering if his 2nd wife told him that she didn't want her son around me.

Regarding the control part...all I can say is YES! ;D Im a big control freak and I thought that I could fix all of our problems. Obviously I was incorrect in thinking that. I think I actually made it worse than better. One of my biggest focus about myself is my tendency to try and control a situation. So yes that makes sense to me.

Thank you so very much for the interpretation Kaz. I've gain some very good insight into our past relationship. The thing that's really on my mind is him feeling torn between his family and me. Maybe there was some other stuff going on that I wasn't aware of. I'm not sure now.

Hi Dee,

Thank you so much for the feedback on this dream. I know you say that there is nothing about your husband that you admire, but I am sure there must have been, else you would not have fallen in love with him in the first place. I think what you are trying to say is, that now you know him better, whatever it was that attracted you to him in the first place, has been completely overshadowed by the real man, who he really is.

In saying that, who he was when you first met him is still there. We all have positive and negative qualities. What we hope is that the positives outweigh the negatives and that is why people stay in relationships, trying to make them work, long after they should have stopped. If that makes sense to you.

You say in a previous dream he asked you to try again with him and with a lot of sincerity. Remember dream people are also aspects of ourselves. So on one level, this is you feeling that there is unfinished business between you. That you, in spite of how much he has hurt you and you feel betrayed by him, still would try to make your marriage work. On another level, you may have a intuitive connection to him, and be feeling what is deep within his heart.

I sense from what you have said about his attitude to you and his behaviour there is probably a lot about him and what he has been doing that you are not aware of. He may feel that is too late to go back, too much has happened. I don't know, I am just speculating here. But from what you have said about his odd behaviour with regard to his youngest son and you, there is much more, just to this situation then meets the eye. I am guessing his own parents know more about this too but out of loyalty to him and wanting to spare your feelings are keeping quiet. Its probably best to let sleeping dogs lie.

The most important thing to focus on here I feel is you and your daughter. I know from what you have said she is 10 years old. Girls mature emotionally a lot faster then boys and I am sure she is aware of a lot more then you think, even if you have done your best to try to protect her from all the emotional fall out that has ensued from the breakdown of your marriage. Use that wonderful organizational ability of yours to get you life and your daughter's back on track. Channel that excess of personal energy that is now available to you in that direction.

It would seem that you invested a lot of time and energy and commitment into your marriage Dee. But marriages are about two people not one. I am guessing, that this was not how you expected marriage to be and not being a quitter, was reluctant to give up on it. I believe in time you will look back at this experience and instead of seeing it as your worst nightmare, will see that you had a lucky escape.

Hi Kaz,

Thanks for giving some additional insight! Yes, that is what I mean regarding my husband. And yes it does make sense to me what you're saying about staying in a relationship longer than you should trying to make it work or trying to get back "what you once had."

Regarding his youngest son, yes...his mom probably knows something about that as well. And yes she is very loyal (to his detriment if you ask me) her son.

Thank you for offering the suggestion of channeling my personal energy towards getting my life back in order. I've been doing that although it doesn't seem to be working.

Yes you're exactly right about me not wanting to quit on my marriage. No it wasn't what I thought it would be...it was all about him but yes I was willing to work through. Im glad to know one day I will feel it was a lucky escape...because right now it is my worse nightmare.
