Introduction and thanks

Tonight I was thinking how nice it would be to be able to communicate with Kindred Spirits. I am in a new town since two almost two years and am happy to be here. However, my community of close friends are still back where I used to live. Even though we stay in touch, I am craving that interaction here, now.

I have also been struggling since being here, since I have 'family' here and that has been a real challenge. It has forced me to set some strong boundaries, which is something I am just learning at the ripe old age of 50.

Anyhow, long story short. I was feeling a little emotionally weak tonight and wanting communication on a more profound level, so I did a search, being skeptical that I could find a holistic site to interact with others who have the same challenges, beliefs, faith and spirituality.

I very quickly found your site and after spending an hour reading selected posts, I logged off to get ready for bed. As I was doing so, I realized how much better I felt. The cloud that has been hanging over my head, admittedly partially a monthly challenge, was gone!

So thank you all for being here and answering my wish. I look forward to learning more over time from all of you.

Dear SyneGirl, Family repeating things means your soul wants to, but hasn't learned a certain lesson yet. Suddenly, you will know from within.

Also i'd like a fellow sojourner to test me. I have read many thing; metals, crystals, photographs and I am wondering if I could also read a photo online. Send me someone photo, do not say anything about teh photo and I will see if any comes to me and if so share my thoughts.

I can totally relate to how you were feeling. I find myself in the same situation - only without family. I am 42 and still on the journey - and am looking to find solace in like-minded souls. I hope to "meet" you on the forums or in chat - take care and many many blessings.
