Hello Fellow Travellers!

My name is Mags and I am on a journey to embrace spirituality.

A couple of years ago, I was too busy building a life based on society's preconditioned idea of success. I was too busy with my corporate responsibilities and different social roles that I seem to have forgotten (or have never let myself explore) who I really am as a Spiritual being.

So as the universe would have it- I felt that some great part of me was amiss. This led me to the beginning of my journey to seek truth beyond the physical world, and opened up an entirely new amazing experience for me.

For those of you who are further along in your journeys, I know you would agree with me when I say that I've finally realized that the more I seek the truth, the more I find that it has been within all along. :-)

Dear Mags,

Welcome to The God Light.

It is really nice to meet you. I can understand completely where you are coming from. I think many people come to a point in their lives, where they become very aware of a void, a sense of dissatisfaction but cannot quite point there finger on what it is. What once gave them pleasure and a feeling of having achieved something with their life, seems superficial. With that comes the realisation, that maybe in their drive for material success they have neglected other important areas of their life. Relationships with others as well as with themselves.

The spiritual path is a rich one. It opens a window to the world, and changes the way we view things forever. Simple things become precious because we start to appreciate their true value. Even a view we have looked out on from our window, hundreds of times before, takes on a colour and vividness we have never noticed before. This is just the beginning of a wonderful phase of our lives. An opportunity to have a new relationship with the world and with ourselves. I wish you luck and happy journeys on your spiritual travels.

I actually met you in the chat room with some of the group last night. I first tried to register as Mags but couldn't, so I took on my favorite moniker as Seeker. I hope I can reconcile the registration problem on my next log in.
