Greetings! I have two dreams, or portions of dreams? In one, I was walking between two houses at the beach with my dog, Nestle. As I was going between the houses a cat jumped on my leg and sunk its claws in to hold on and started to bite my leg. I grabbed it by the scruff of the neck and pulled it away, then tossed it to the side and kept walking. It attacked again, and again I grabbed it by that loose skin and held it at arm's link to keep it from my body. Then we ascended some steps to go over the dunes to the shoreline, and as we were climbing I dropped it over the side, confident then that it would not be able to attack me again. 2nd dream is short: the end of a dream it seems. But someone approached me, held out their arm and opened their hand. In it was three grains of rice.

Hi Yogi,
Interesting dreams… houses often are considered an aspect of ourselves… here you are between two houses… two parts of yourself… perhaps one representing you were and the other who you will become… you are in the middle walking your dog… as in … you are on your path… staying ‘loyal’ (dogs depict loyalty) to your growth as a person…
The cat (female energy) attacks you sinking it’s claws in to ‘hold on’ … is there a female in your life that has had a big influence till now… have you been furthering yourself from her during your ‘self-growth’? Is she doing things that resemble ‘holding on’ … the ‘biting’ brings to mind that her comments would ‘bite/hurt’ deeply…. You ‘pulled it away’ indicates you pulling away from her influence… but that hasn’t worked so now you hold her at ‘arm’s length’ in your dealings with her…
Ascending stairs indicates moving up and out of the situation that held you down/back … someone approaching you, holding out their arm … indicates that you do have those that will be able to help you along your new path…
Three grains of rice is very interesting… there is a story about a king with 3 daughters, upon embarking on a long trip he leaves his three daughters in charge of his kingdom… but before leaving he gives them each a gift… that gift is a grain of rice…
The first daughter wraps her grain of rice with a golden ribbon and looks/idolizes it to remind herself of how powerful she is…
The second daughter just throws it away as she sees no worth in it….
The third daughter looked at it for a long time until she finally ‘understood’ what to do with it… she went outside and planted it in the soil… the grain of rice became a ‘seed’ … giving life beyond itself, eventually turning into vast rice fields of hope and nourishment for others.
Years later, when the king returned, he asked his three daughters what they did with their grains of rice. Needless to say he was not impressed with what the first two daughters did with their grains of rice…
The third daughter, didn’t say anything, instead she took her father (the king) to the vast fields of rice and showed him how a small grain of rice could make life lasting difference in the kingdom. Taking the crown off his head, he placed it on hers, saying: “Beloved, you alone have learned the meaning of power even in a grain of rice.” From that day, the youngest daughter ruled the kingdom. She ruled long and she ruled wisely and well too.
God has given each of us gifts… not just one but many… what the gift is, is not important… what is important is what we do with that gift… using our gifts to help others is the key…
In your dream you have been given three gifts/ three pearls of wisdom… use them wisely, plant the seeds of the wisdom you’ve been given along your travels… and remember when we plant a seed, that seed needs nurturing and love to grow.
Thank you for sharing your dream with us, in sharing it you have planted a seed not just for yourself but also for those who might read this… the planting is done… god bless you!
Take from this interpretation what sits right and true for you and leave the rest.
God bless, Silvia
