I am a 2nd Degree Reiki Student and am drawing closer to God than ever before. This is so wonderful.
Here's my question. Is there any protection from an attack from
Satan.

You cannot be attacked from what you do not believe in, by believing in Satan you give it form within your mind. I myself do not believe in Satan, so I am at no harm, as my mind would reject even the notion of such a character.
If you are fixated on negativity, you will find negativity all around you. Instead of thinking of such negative things, let your mind be filled with beauty, let your mind be filled with God's love and light.
Only then will you understand that nothing can hurt you in this world, more than your own mind, a mind should be pure, it should not allow disturbing thoughts to enter it.
As I said earlier, if you believe in satan you bring satan to life, think wisely and you will not have any troubles.

The energy field is as strong as it's owner.
Put a bowl of milk out on the porch and you will attract the stray cats.
Until you remove the bowl of milk, you will have stray cats.
I suggest you examine your thoughts and what else may be attracting the negative.

I agree with leon and bryant.
Very thoughtful words. And very interesting question.
To cluster all the negative thoughts together, it would be easier to just say saten. Just like all the positive thoughts could be called God. All in all. Words give us definition. Not always a label.
When bad thoughts enter my mind. I picture a path i'm walking on, and one path leading to the sunlight and the other path leading into darkness. I relate darkness to the words worrying, bad mood, anger, sadness, depression, jealousy. And I relate sunlight to the fellings of, good, happiness, wholeness, contentment, calmness, loyalty and joy.
I simply imagine walking away from the darkness and as I start to think good thoughts on purpose, I picture myself heading towards the sunlight. And the more I do this, I tend to get into a habit of always trying to look for the good in everything. It becomes my new habitat in my mind. And before you know it. Youll always feel like your walking on the path of sunlight.
It helps me because of what I relate sunlight to. When we walk into a dark room, we dont say "turn off the darkness." We instead say "Turn on the light"
Also. I almost tend to feel that sunlight has an authority essence. We and the rest of our solar system revolves around the sun. Also, the reason we have seasons is simply because of sunlight. And when the earth spins on its axle plays a big part in the ever changing seasons. Each tiny atom that originated from the sun is over a couple million years old. By the time it is released from the suns surface, it only takes several minutes to travel to earth.
Increase you knowledge of the world around you. So this earth will always fascinate your mind. So much you may think better thoughts.
I want to close out with a quote I once heard. "Great minds talk about ideas, average minds talk about events, and closed minds talk about people."

Is there any protection from an attack from Satan. :)Hi, Its great that you are feeling closer to God with your work, he choose you for this healing work, and you choose this path of healing its a two way thing., before we are even born into this earth plane we choose what purpose we are going to have here negative or positive as everything is for our learning on this plane. When you know you are doing Gods Work you can be assured nothing will happen to you that is of a evil energy, unfortunatly in reality we have alot of negative energy as well as positive energy around us, some call the negative energy the devil, which is drugs, alchol,bad moral habits, abuse of another and many more unpleasant things that come into our lives that take hold of some people, we live in a world of negative and positive and it is up to us which path we will choose when we come here, all for our learning lessons of life. We are always guided , the path you are following is of the highest of Gods love and light, I have archangael Michael with me since i was a child, i call upon him whenever and wherever i might need his protection or if i am doing a healing or reading for a client to protect me and my client,or if i feel threatened from any negative forces that may try to put me in any danger, but i know and can be 100% sure i am protected by Gods divine love, light and protection and i trust in that completly. I have never had any negative forces from the lower astral plane or from the physical world try to penetrate the sheild of God ,my Angels, Archangel Michael or my spiritual helper my son :). Always trust that your guides and angels are looking after you, any spiritual worker that has been chosen and choose to follow a spiritual path for the good of helping others is highly protected by spirit, so put yourself at ease, enjoy doing what you are doing, knowing you have God on your side he is no force to be reckoned with ;). Your spiritual guides and all your spiritual helpers including helpers of this earth plane progress you in learning when they know you are ready to advance to a higher level of healing and learning energy. :) Love and light. In my belief, we chant HU a sacred name for God for10 to 15 min with love in our hearts, and receive the Lught and Sound of God, it purifies the mind and protects us from negitivity, and replaces with love. Now we can still do neg thinga or think of neg things, but they won't come on there own, do you understand what I'm trying to say. And some seekers on the path might have a inner guide which will help neg thoughts from entering the third eye

Hi Sunbeam When you receive the keys to Heaven, yeah,you get the key to Hell too  I had this problem. I was channeling every day 4 or 5 years ago and Archangel Lucifer would come into my energy field and I was SO scared of him. One night I had a dream about God and the Devil. I dreamed God was a beautiful but disinterested woman, dancing, surrounded by the universe in rings like saturns rings that orbited her body. She paid me less attention than the devil, who stood ready to devour me, his legs in fire. And it hit me. The way out of fear is through the fire. I couldn't see God's love because I was afraid! I was locked in fear. So I ran towards the Devil and jumped into the fire, into his hands. When I woke up I understood that the only way out of fear is through fear. Then you see Gods love and learn how to love in the same way. And then, the Devil loses his power over you. One day after this dream, Lucifer came to me while I was channeling. He told me he wanted to tear out my heart and eat it. I stood up out of my chair, took off my shirt and turned my back to him, spread my arms and said 'Do it.' My whole body trembled. I was terrified. And yet still. And certain. I knew he had no power, and I wasn't afraid to die. He laughed and said he couldn't. He said... you're not afraid of me anymore. I just wanted to see if you'd lose your fear. He never tried again. Since then I've had visits from all sorts of negative beings, including Satan (I see him as a separate entity to archangel lucifer.) They can't hurt me because my love is stronger than their fear and anger. And they don't stay long As for Lucifer...he's now one of my dearest friends. Someone I love genuinely. Even if he is sometimes...well. He can be an ass LOL! He's quick to anger, scary and bossy, especially if you lie to yourself around him. But he's also loving in his own way and there's noone more loyal to his friends. |
