hello everyone.
My name is Bill and I live in the American Midwest.
I have been thinking about my current situation and recently realized that I want to return to the attitude of spiritual optimism that I felt years ago. I come from a conservative family, but I want to follow my own spiritual path.
I believe we live in a spiritual universe. And we are better off for pursuing the timeless values of the spirit (like compassion for others). I believe in karma and some form of rebirth. I don't know that I believe in certain phenomena like channeling, but I certainly wouldn't stand in the way anyone following a path they are compelled to follow or criticizing anyone's practice just because I might not believe as they do.
But I think I will have much in common with people here and look forward to making new friends.
