My name is Jared, Ive just joined the group.

I live in England and like most of you probably looking for truth and meaning from life. I am mostly interested in Gnosis and the teachings of Gnosticism and look forward to getting to know people here.

Hello Jared,

No, I do not belong to a school..

I find Gnosticism interesting, as I do any spiritual path that has the desire to find spiritual enlightment and to grow in wisdom. It would be nice to hear your views on this, what brought you to it, and the experiences you have had while following this spiritual path.

Hi Kaz,

I took a couple of free online courses which exposed me to Gnosticism. It was really practical and the experiences I got from these practical techniques have really helped me internally and have mystical type experiences. Its been a great journey so far!

Hello Jared,

I like the sound of that, the simplicity of it. I like the way it can be applied in an every day way, that fits into your life. The practical techniques you speak of, are they meditative, or more affirmational. It is very prayerful, do you use this as part of your practice.

I have read a bit more about gnosticism, since my last post, and what I am reading I am liking. I use Twitter and have started following a few Gnostic groups. I love their quotations and find them inspirational.
