Hi,
I am myself of a muslim background, but I have interest in many other religions, faiths and ways of reaching enlightenment. It would be great if I could meet like minded people, to share experiences........

Hi Salima
I saw your post and I have a similar need to try and find friends interested in different religions. I'm Sikh by heritage but have concluded over the years that all of the religions are saying the same thing.
Its hard to find anyone who you can talk about spiritual matters with. I spent time with John of God in Brasil where I experienced physical psychic surgery which proved to me without doubt that there is more to the universe that what we see and hear.
Have you always been a believer or has something happened which made you beleive?

That's a coincedence, it's been a long time since I visited this website and now I see your message was posted only yesterday ;-)
I am a muslim, by heritage also and I also believe that the muslim experience lies within a huge tempel with all kinds of different spiritual experiences and ways.........I literally dreamt it one day..........so I now understand that spirituality and religion is a book that was written ever since human experience was on earth and is still being written...........
I also have a grandmother who was a medium.........so I know from my own background that there are lots of things in life that go beyond our perceptions........

Its really nice to have met you too.
I believe there is something about the oneness of the universe that lets us know instinctively when to do things like log in and check our posts. Listening and acting on my intuition has made my life more harmonious and stress free, it has also led me to meet like minded people and new friends.
I agree with you about the book of spirituality being written at the dawn of human creation. Its only the language which changes to suit the times and to engage people in a manner they find familiar and acceptable. Enlightenment is a long hard but wonderful path. The universe finds its way to lead us to the path.
Do you have any medium abilities yourself?

Hmmm interesting question. I am not a medium or a clairvoyant like my ancestor, but I do experience telepathy and sometimes I just know instinctively. But I think it's something that many sensitive people can develop once they 've decided that it's their lfepath........

I'm similar in that I have always had a very strong sense of intuition and sometimes I know what was going to happen before it does. I didn't understand the ability until I embarked on the spirtual path. I know allow myself to listen to my intuition and be guided by it. It has had the most amazing result in that my life now flows and I accept that things are the way they are meant to be. It has almost erradicated feelings of stress and anxiety. I also no recognise the signs which have always been ther to guide me.
When I reflect on the past I now see clearley when the universe steps in and gudes you at critical times. I ofteen find myself in work situations where I know and say things which I have no right to know. They always serve to make my journey easier. Basically I think we all have a mission in which we are being guided. I also think anyone can develop their abilities, the benefit is you can step back and view life more holistically and be more accepting of you predicament. Once that happens the stresses and anxieties of life reduce making it even easier to listen to your intuition.

Hi Salima. I love the fact that you are interested in spirituality from all walks of life. I have many Muslim friends and Ramadam Kareem. I would be happy to share alot with you as I have walked many spiritual and religious ways. I am also a visionary and can see alot. Interesting that your grandmother was a medium. Where are you from? I am in the USA/chicago.
