I visited Muscat in Oman, Middle East in September '06. As I sat on my hotel balcony alone looking out across the beach bay, surrounded by mountains, grass, the sea, the moonlight, I had the most overwheling sensation of deep & pure love come over me. Like the very mountains and nightime were actually loving & holding me. It ws soo deep & real it made me cry ears of joy & gratitude for I felt nature had somehow harnessed the collective consciousness of love from everyone who believes in t and a higher power & somehow I had tapped into this knowledge & was able to feel it. I love others but have never before or since experienced anything like it, it lasted maybe 10 minutes and Ijust gave deep thanks to God for it was like he ws saying "I've got you,it's O.K, nothing can go wrong". I'd just had a typical day & wasn't actualy consciously meditating or praying. It's hard to describe. I felt light and free. I'm going back there shortly & hope I feel it again. I feel the mountains had something to do with it, like they'd harnessed all the loving thoughts that had ever been tought over millions of years. I'd love to know if anyone else has experienced similar and to hear you opinions and interpretations of this. I live in a town & don't have particulary scenic views so Iguess that's why it's more difficult to tap in to this again although I suspect one could regardless of geography. what do you think? That sounds a wonderful experience Indigo and very well described by you. I love mountains as well and feel drawn to them, maybe not the peaks but how they surround and protect the landscape. God bless you www.thegodlight.co.uk

Aaaah Indigo, what a fantastic experience. I had a glimpse of what you felt when I had my moment of being totally aware with every fibre of my being of what was around me and that which became part of me. You know the thing that always strikes me when I have those breathtaking heart stopping moments; is the ETERNALNESS of it. In the moment, you realize how never ending the earth is. Her beauty is awesome, and as long as we don't do anything stupid as a race to destroy her, that beauty will be around for ever. When I think that the view before me has been shared by many many others going back into the eons of time, I feel connected to them, and in the moment, know that I am Eternal, we all are. Thank you for sharing your special moment with me.. Lots of love Kaz

Hi Karen,
Thanks for your reply. Isn't it great to know these experiences are out there for the ones who want to see, regardless of location. I wish I knew how to tap into it activley at will, I suspect this knowledge will come when the time is right. For now it serves as a great comfort to know we are all connected in love and it's warmth.
I read your thread about you becoming the mountain that is what inspired me to share my experience so thanks.
I've just posted a new thread ' Portals to the Higher Power' love to know your thoughts.
Love & light, Indigo

Hi Indigo...what an incredibly aware experience...how blessed you are to have experienced it...can I give you a little friendly advice though...if you focus too much on WHERE you experienced the feeling, you may miss it elsewhere...if you understand what I mean. I have never been blessed enough to have such an experience, but it occurs to me that it comes from within rather than outer circumstances...and you should actively be able to tap into it as you say...please read THE CELESTINE PROPHECY by James Redfield...there is a part in that where exactly what you describe occurs, and it is amazing...I thought you had read the book already because it sounds the same!! I thoroughly recommend it

Hi Undineworker, Thanks, I feel that's good advice, not to attribute it all to the geography. I've not read The Celestine Prophecy, a friend briefly told me about it last year & said I must read it, you know how it is though I just haven't got round to it. Now you suggest it too, I'm intrigued, & will buy a copy. Love & Light, Indigo.
