This is my tattoo I got in Hawaii. It has a lot of significance to me. It closely resembles the Konoha village symbol in a japanese manga called Naruto. The philosophy of Konoha village is the 'Will of Fire'. The Will of Fire is the flame that burns in the hearts of people. The passion to help others and to protect your dreams. Trust and honesty are manifestations of the Will of Fire. The future is trusted to the unborn children of the village and having the Will of Fire means you believe in others and work together to create peace and compassion. Having the Will of Fire means you do not tolerate those who disrupt the peace, but you will do your best to understand them and to help. Overall Konoha stands for peace and understanding, for the bonds we have with others, and for respecting pain and fighting it. I am learning more about this symbol as my life continues. In chat we talked about reiki symbols, and the occurance of swirls in history. It was a great conversation ^_^ I'm posting this for a reference because I am talking about it in chat. Any other comments on reiki symbols or symbols anyone has found useful? Above: I drew this before I found a real photo of the tattoo.... Above: This is a photo of my tattoo. It was taken a few minutes after I got it. Above: This is the Cho Ku Rei , Reiki symbol. Above: The swirly white and pink fish cake in the ramen noodle is called a Naruto.
