Hi i thought id write on here about one of my dreams Ive been having so here goes, i keep dreaming a lot about my parents old house in the country where i was born i keep dreaming there is spirits in the house its a scary thought when I'm dreaming it but i don't get hurt bye it at all, sometimes i feel I'm grabbed and pinned on the ceiling or other times i feel what ever it is is watching me but i feel slightly fretained by this.
Also i sometimes dream it takes over my body and i fly around the sky and anyone who is near in my dream look on with a very scared look as if they are very scared of my personally.
Ive been having this dream for a long time prob 3 or 4 years always at my place of birth, then the other week i had this scarey feeling again and this time i was aware to myself that i was dreaming and started to think what this invisible thing or spirit could be, so i told myself its my oldest son who past over to the other side nearly 4 years ago then all of a sudden i could feel it was him also but could not see him and that scared feeling was replaced with love in my heart and inner peace and happiness, hope this all makes sence to someone lol why do most of my dreams not all the same im always at the house i grew up in? also i have a lot of the same dreams which are connected to this house and town i dream so many times that im still working in the horrible factory nr my home which i did years ago when i was 16 i was a forklift operator there and i keep dreaming this prob hundreds of times and i always seem to have minor accidents on the forklift in my dream i keeps going out of control, i really hate this dream as that job made me so misserable when i was a teenager but why do i keep dreamint this so many times why i ask myself why never ther job i do now. its seems to me most of my dreams are based on things from years ago, maybe kaz you can make something out of this hopefully many thanks in advance steve

In dream symbology a house is representative of the dreamer, YOU. Each room in the house is an aspect, facet of the dreamer. This house is you although you refer to it in the dream as being your parents house. In a sterotypical way they represent the Mother, Father, Male, Female aspects of you. It may also symbolise a need on your part to return to the family home, where you felt safe. This can happen at times in our life when we feel the need of reconnecting with the security our parents can give us. A reinforcing of familial roots.

It may be that you are experiencing some anxiety in your life and long for that familial guidance, someone you can turn to for advice instead of being the one to whom others turn to to give it.

In the dream you are aware of spirit presence. This can be whispers from the past, those you have loved and have gone on to spirit. It may indicate that you either have a sensitivity to see, feel or hear spirit, or that you are beginning to develop that ability. You say you are a little afraid, but no harm has come to you. This rising up to the ceiling may be you experiencing an Out Of Body Experience, or Astral Travel. Most only get as far as the ceiling when they start experiencing this phenomena, and many never get any further..so don't worry. Or it could just be spirits way of trying to get your attention.

It is very normal to be nervous of something that is new to you and beyond what is our normal reality. But spirit are simply the energies of our loved ones who have moved on to another dimension. They were not to be feared in life and should not be feared now, they are still as they were..

Dreaming you are flying is again very normal in dreams, it symbolises the ability to rise up above your situation and view things from a calmer or higher perspective. Again, many people who experience this are very sensitive and in some cases psychic. You perceiving as looking up at you fearfully, is simply you projecting outward your own fears.

If you feel that the spirit that is close to you is the spiritual energy of your son who has past over, then it probably is. When any of us sense the energy of something or someone else, whatever thought comes into your mind instinctively in connection to the feeling is usually the correct one. I am sure all he is doing is trying to reassure you by his presence. Many believe that our loved ones continue to take an interest in our lives from spirit and their love for us as ours for them creates a bond so strong that the link is always there. Dreaming about the past can sometimes be the minds way of nudging us to solutions in our current daily life that we may have found in the past. But in your dream you feel as if you have not got anywhere with your life and finding it difficult to deal with problems.

I believe that you should look positively at 'how far you have come' in your life. Focus on what you have achieved, how you have changed. You are not the young inexperienced boy you once were and you have your family and the experiences you have gained on life's path to show you that. I would guess that you feel a little disheartened at the moment in your real life and are frustrated by life's set backs or frustrations. You may even feel isolated and alone if you feel that there is no one to turn to, to talk about the things that worry you. This shows itself in your nightly return to the family home.

The past sometimes can provide lessons for the future, but you must have faith that the future will be a happy and fulfilled one. You have your loved ones in spirit near to support you.
