Hello Tp!!
I use this method often, I think its good to keep things in context and to remember how lucky we are. Some of the things I am greatful for:
My loviing relationship with my husband and my daughter. My humble home. My fulfilling and rewarding job. All the lovely friends i have made (here and at work) The ability to work with energy and the angels etc Having the opportunity to learn and share with friends here Having enough money to feed and clothe my family and have what i class as an acceptable lifestyle..........I could go on, but i think the list is endless!!
Thanks for the chance to show my gratitude!! Kel xx

My dear Kerry,
it is so wonderful that you should feel that way...my poor little girl was feeling down (she will soon be 16 and tells me she is sad because she wants to stay a little girl and not grow up - how sad is that?) so I told her exactly what you said, that what I did every morning was to wake up and stretch and say thank you for everything good in my life....I go one stage further, however, and say thank you for what I would like to happen in my day...as if it had already happened...it works, miraculously sometimes, that I say thank you for giving me a peaceful day in which I have the chance to finish up all my correspondence and filing at work...hey presto, by the end of the day, I discover to my amazement that has happened! I was told that you could fool your subconscious mind into believing something was real, if you pretended it had already happened, but if you go one stage further and put the grateful joy you feel at having achieved something wonderful into a prayer and pretend it has already happened, then it will happen and you will have achieved it...you are in fact energizing your thoughts of gratitude...so your grateful attitude turns that energy into reality....it is a case of raising your vibration until you attract the very thing you are thankful for into your life...it works in every way in incredible ways....for example...thank you for giving my little girl a wonderful day at school..."mummy, you will never guess what, I had an amazing day at school today" - it no longer surprises me, but I accept it as an attitude of gratitude which is not just a platitude....try it...tomorrow morning when you wake up and say thank you god for letting me see the sunshine, and breathe in the air....say thank you for helping me to get my chores done by 10am and have a relaxing cuppa coffee....then expect it to happen, and IT WILL.
Love and Light to all
Lizzie xx

In my heart, I am 6 years old Today I am grateful to feel the wonderment of the child that I am. In my heart, I am a little girl. I giggle, I have played barbies with children that I have babysat...... I still have my own barbies that get a new hairstyle every once and a while. Sometimes I'm 14. I am curious about life, I feel the joy of every new experience as I learn about the world that surrounds me. Sometimes I'm 100. I gaze at the world through contented eyes. I'm calm, I've learned to let go...... We are the age we choose to be. Numbers are numbers. A Birthday to me, is a day on the calendar to celebrate my arriving into this beautiful paradise...... I'm thrilled to be here...... I am grateful to be alive...... Love and Hugs

Hello Kelly Gratitude, for me has been my tool of choice when things go a little haywire. It is one of the seven virtues, ( I don't remember them all ), the other six, I suppose, are for other uses. Gratitude keeps me centered. At any point in time on our beautiful planet, people are living through all sorts of experiences, and some are deeply painful. I keep that in mind if my thoughts start to wander into the "Oh no's". Today I am grateful to have eyes to read I am grateful to have fingers to type Life is a bowl of cherries, and when I'm grateful, I don't notice the pits A Happy Hug for you today

I am grateful for everything!! I was watching an advert on TV last night about the Deaf and blind. This tiny child locked in a dark and silent world. My mind scrambled to try and comprehend what it must be like, not to be able to see and hear. To see this little boys face light up, just by the loving delicate touch of annother and to see his little face smile as he used sensory objects like a mini fan and felt it blowing against his face. I felt incredible grateful for my own existence and health and the health and existance of all those I love and care for. We take so much for granted and its not because we are ungrateful...we just forget to count our blessings. I was grateful that this lovely child reminded me of just how much I have to be grateful for. A good thread.. Love and light Karen

Dear Karen A warm Hello to you I would like to share something with you. When I was growing up, I shared a most special friendship with a girl who is half Welsh. She and I were extremely close, we shared some of the fondest moments of my childhood, that I still cherish to this day. In short, she really made me laugh ;D ....... Our paths parted, taking separate directions during adolescence. I did bump into her one night in a club when we were in our twenties, and believe it or not, I happened to be wearing a pair of earrings that she had given to me as a gift several years earlier. Within minutes, we were killing ourselves laughing.... just like we used to. We still shared the same taste in humor, she hadn't changed a bit. The evening was a ball of laughs, but we havn't seen eachother since. All this to say that although we don't keep in touch, I am grateful for what we have shared. She added so many smiles to my face, I have lost count. At times, when I was having a difficult day, I would eat her famous "butter with a little bit of peanutbutter" toast. Even in her absence, she was able to add a few more smiles to my face in my time of need..... I hope to tell her one day......When you laugh with someone, they mark your heart with a permanent smile. I miss her, I someday hope to hear her laugh again............... A Special Hug sent from Canada to Wales
