Hello Everyone :)

I joined you all here because I need to find some kind of uplifting influence in my life. I searched for "metaphysical chat" on Google and here I am! Metaphysics, to me, is the quest for spiritual truth, something I have been pretty much obsessed with since a very young age. Since there can be nothing about Truth that is "dark", there is no actual "dark side" to metaphysics, however Truth can shine its light on what appear to be dark aspects of our universe, and these are the issues that are leading me to feel somewhat "stuck" in a negative view of a lot of things lately. Anyway, I'm not here to try and be a downer towards anyone, I just wanted to give a heads up that I'm kind of struggling to keep a sunny disposition these days. Maybe I just need some new friends to spend time with, I'm sure it can hardly be an uncommon experience that a metaphysical/philosophical obsession tends to isolate us from many of the people in our everyday lives.
I must say that "God Light" is a wonderfully uplifting name, very simple, very deep, just like Truth itself, echoing perfectly my own occasional experience that God is the "Light in which there is no darkness." Well, I can tend to ramble sometimes, but here I am, and I hope to make some friends here and not confuse anyone with whatever crazy theories I might be throwing out there later on.....But you just have to talk about this stuff, it will drive you crazy if you just sit on top of it and let it spin you round and round in circles!!! Hi Tabularasa, welcome to our group. I am sure you will find many people here that will be glad to go rambling with you. As all most everyone here is seeking the truth in the world that we reside.

My name is Digby, I too like to delve into things metaphysical and enjoy thrashing out spiritual concepts to help each other get a clearer picture of the "Truth", bringing the Light into the dark areas of our minds and chasing out the shadows.
