Cheery Wave to All...

I thought I'd introduce myself to everyone with a cheery, "Hello!"

I'm Ash, here to gain friends and knowledge. For as long as I can remember, I've been interested in the relationship between mind and spirit. I find that I naturally have a gift for healing, nurturing, and understanding. There's something about learning, feeling or being awarded insight into something new... It satiates me to the core!

Two years ago, I lost my way with the death of my best friend and mentor. My desire to see was stripped to near nothing and faith strained. Until 4 days ago, I continued to feel such a disconnect that I was ready to give up on ever finding that illusive H word again. (Happiness)

Something happened to me, though. This beautiful Sunday, I met someone who restored my faith and reminded me of the truth I've always known. A stranger that I might not meet again... has changed my perspective so profoundly. Changing the resolution, revealing dimensions of myself and the world around me that were blurred before.

I'd love to tell this story here... I think I will on the discussion board. I don't want to get too far off topic.

Simply! This awakening, of sorts, creates many questions. I am here, observing and open to whatever answers I might find. Hoping that I may find another(or others) to confide in and share my new discoveries.

That has been my experience since I've become a member here and I'm sure that all the others here would agree with me on that.
Thank you for telling us a bit about yourself.I find it very interesting that the stranger that you met had such a profound effect on you.You may have heard the expression that"sometimes we entertain angels unawares" Who knows?
