An Interesting Dream

About two weeks ago, I dreamed that I was leaving a house and walking toward my bicycle. When I came to my bicycle, it was locked with someone else's lock, not mine. I use a cable lock, but the lock on the bike looked like a U-lock with a chain and dead bolt. Then two guys approached the bicycle as if it was theirs. I told them that it was my bicycle, and I told them to unlock it. They did just what I told them to do.
What could this mean?

Bicycles are a mode of transport, how we travel in dream scape dictates how and the speed in which we move through life. So riding a bicycle, is a moderate pace, but under your own power.

The fact that your bicycle was locked indicates that you are being prevented from using your own energy to get on, move forward. You did use a lock of your own, I think this may indicate you worry a little about your security, hence the lock, needing to protect yourself from outside influences. The fact that another lock had been used was as if someone else was taking away from you, your own right to make decisions for yourself, using your own energy. . Someone around you, could be doing this either by being overly controlling or simply unhelpful.

Two men approach you, when a man appears in a womens dream there may be many meanings. Sometimes, it is that the man or men represent a masculine ideal to the women, or they have attributes, strengths that the women admires and would like to emulate, for instance, ambition, dynamism and assertiveness. But in your dream, you feel uneasy by their presence as you feel that they want to take your bike from you as they claim it is theirs.

In real life are there two men in your life who you feel have more of a say in life and the decisions you make then is necessary. Whether this is the case or not, you still seem to retain the upper hand in this dynamic as you tell them what it is you want, and they comply with your wishes..

Look at your relationships, plus the relationship you have with yourself. Could you be more assertive in your waking life, do you have enough of a say in what you do and where you go. This could be in a relationship, or in the workplace. Do you feel that you have come to a bit of a dead end, or hit a wall in terms of what you are doing with your life. you want to just let go, have fun and you are caught up with so much of everyday life that you just want some leisurely pursuits and recreation. Your not getting what you want and you feel that you have no time for it. Now you have to be assertive and a little aggressive and your dream is telling you that you need to find the time for it.
