This book, written by Dr. Shakuntala Modhi, PhD, a Psychiatrist, is about spirit releasement therapy via hypnosis. It's detailed and comprehensive. If you're looking for a book that covers the vast majority of these types of cases, in detail, this one is a good one to consider. And, it's not a "pie in the sky", unfounded assumptions kind of statement, either.
Dr. Modhi has been doing this work for about 20 years now and has the case files and history of resultant healings to back it up.
Highly recommended, although "Freeing the Captives", by Louise Ireland Frey is a better "entry level" book for many who don't want to wade through all of the case histories and different kinds of cases presented in Dr. Modhi's book.

Dr. William Baldwin and his wife, Rev. Judith Baldwin (my teachers in this area, BTW...) have been pioneers in this work and have been recognized as such for many years. (Judith continues on without "Dr. Bill" now. He died in 2004 of cancer.)
Few write-ups are done in which they are not mentioned. Dr. Baldwin wrote several books on the subject, including "Spirit Releasement Therapy- A Technique manual". If this is an area that interests you, then this book is a must- have.
