This book, and it's two sequels, are about "Stylianos Atteshlis", a Greek Cypriot healer / teacher known to his students, clients and others, as, "Daskalos", which means, "teacher" in Greek.
Of all of the books I've read regarding metaphysical "terrain", these actually draw a complete picture... from the life and teachings of Jesus (he identified as Christian... saying thet St. John ("Johannon") was his teacher and guide), to reincarnation (Daskalos reportedly remembered all of his past lives), to Karma, to healing, to development and responsibilities of paranormal abilities, to thought forms ("elementals"), to entity attachment, to sorcery and black magic, to astral travel, bi-location and materialization from the astral realm.
Of the more notable statements by him was that any paranormal ability, not applied directly to healing and helping others, is a failure in responsibility.
As a healer, he routinely did healings that were best described as, "miraculous".
Daskalos not only worked in the physical, in day to day tasks, but in the astral and other realms, as an "Invisible Helper".
As a teacher, he had small circles of students, who he termed, "Researchers of Truth", and urged them to accept nothing at face value, but to explore, test and verify idea for themselves.
I cannot recommend these books high enough. However, the two sequels, "Homage to the Sun" and "Fire in the Heart", are out of print, to be found sporadically at inflated prices of $30 and up for paperbacks.
Five Stars...!
