Hi everyone! This is new for me, but nonetheless exciting! I have gone thru much and am searching desperately for a light that I can step into and feel comfortable and at peace there always. I was raised in a Mormon background. While much good came from this experience, monsters also haunt me still because of it. I have a terminal disease & have been thru intense changes to my body this last year. From childhood to learning how to live as a grown-up, I have survived again & again...unsurmountable odds. Thus...I question daily why I continue this journey. I am 44 years old and feel like I have yet to really make a contribution.
I'm looking forward to getting to know some kind & cherish-able people. To a long & inspiring future here...

Angelboy, Great to have you here. I understand the journey of the 'terminal disease. Ten years ago I was given a diagnosis of MS. I used to be in a wheelchair. Now I am walking again. There is much for me to recover from but I do know that being in the flow of the Spirit is all that I need. Best thing I ever did was change my mind. |

Hi I'm new to the site too, but not new to spiritual truths, for which Ive sought most of my adult life. Angelboy, I think everyone on this site, including you, has to have suffered a lot to start looking for answers... and information ... about how to turn your life around. To have survived again and again against the odds is a remarkable story. But you have survived, we have all survived our story's, in this mostly insane, crazy world. I have been searching... like everyone here, and slowly finding truths... and how to overcome the most difficult illnesses and suffering....and many truths are here on this lovely site... for us all to explore. I discovered 'The Power of Now' A guide to spiritual enlightenment, by Eckhart Tolle last October, and I have been through the most profound changes, ever since. overcoming and dissolving, what he calls the pain-body. I hope to share some of my insights here. May you all continue to not only walk in the light, but feel the light deeply from within. Bless you all. |

As you can see from the warm greetings you have received we are a loving and friendly group. We all have the same thing in common, we have all suffered in one way or another, and want to be in a place, where we can exchange our stories, offering support and companionship to others, and to grow in love and spiritual awareness.

This is only my third day - but feel very much at home and welcome here. As the ladies say - a lot of love and cyber hugs.
Thru the mask of religion - God is and has been reaching out for us. In true faith, religion melts away to be replaced by that solid walk. Adam's perfect relationship with God is restored.
You shall know them by their fruit - to seek God earnestly will bring the answers you seek. I will pray that you experience something very deep of Him this week and that He will lead you into all truth.
I have stood at the foot of the cross and seen all that is vial in man laid upon the GODMAN - He has made the ultimate sacrifice so that you and I can enter the presence of the Creator without spot or blemish.
