Underwater dream

I had this dream the other night and would like your feedback on it

I am in a vessel under water....I am gathering my belongings together, putting things into a case. I have found some letters, some books and some clothes.

I have what I need and I am about to leave the vessel, when I realise, I have never made my way back to the surface before on my own. There are two routes I can take, one is in another smaller vessel and the other is a route you can swim. With both routes, I am unsure of the way. If I swim, and I get it wrong, I will drown, if I take the vessel and take the second route, I am unsure of how to use the vessel correctly and also worry I will get lost. Then my boyfriend arrives, he has come to help me get back to the surface.

The second part of my dream, I am in a deep snowy cavern. I need to get out of it, so I take a good run up the side of the sloping cavern, and I burst out. I am a queen, with bright red hair. When I get out of the cavern, the queen is in front of me and she is stood looking down at her people. I now am behind her watching her, and I stand there and the whole crowd starts singing, the Queen song, "We will, we will rock you!! and they clap their hands as they do in the song. "We will, we will rock you". I walk up beside her, and I tell the crowd, "She will never leave you again, she will never allow you to be held in servitude again and I give a rousing speech and they all cheer.

lol I promise I dont have illusions of grandeur....

Another interesting dream Kaz…

In the first part… the underwater part… here I feel as I read it… that this is representative of your life … this lifetime… you were in ‘over your head’ so to speak… and as it is in life… you have choices… one way ‘swimming to the surface’ you are very aware of the possibility of drowning before you get to your destination … yet in the other choice…you seem to have a better chance… if only you don’t get lost and if only you knew how to work the controls… so the choice is… do I do this on my own power… or do I use technology (even though I am unfamiliar with it)…. Your boyfriend arriving to help you… tells you what we always remind each other of… ‘we are not alone’ … as is the case here in your dream… when there is a better option for us and the only thing in our way is to learn something through that option… we must also remember we don’t have to learn on our own… we always have help whether it is through our friends, family, or god… we always have help when we have something to learn…. When we try to do it ourselves… we’re usually not open to the help offered to us by others… I’d take the other vessel and learn how it works… could be fun too.

The second part of your dream, could be a past life dream… one in which you were a queen… with bright red hair… and what came to me as I read this is that you were probably abducted and held prisoner… when you got out and were back in front of your people… they were no doubt very happy and relieved to see you… often when we are having a dream where we are both watching ourselves and being the character of our dream… it’s a good bet you’re watching yourself from a past aspect… or past life… a part that resonates with what is going on in this life for you… so here we can see that you were loved by your people as you are loved now by those in your life… you were deep in a snowy cavern and had to get out… as you were deep in a situation in your life now.. that you had to get out of… you show strength to your people by giving them a rousing speech… as you must now show strength to those you love and who love you in this lifetime… the song we will rock you?... hmmm good song by the way… … lol. What does a mother do with her children when she tries to comfort them?.... she might ‘rock them’ to sleep or just to comfort them… so you’re people… then as now in this life… are there for you to help and comfort you when you need it… so allow them to do that for you… we all need to be rocked sometime

Wow, ok here goes..

Feeling bogged down under water where you feel you must leave, says to me you are under alot of pressure and cannot even breathe....gathering the letters and books says to me that you feel an attachment to writings are something you cannot leave behind, you will still need them.
Not knowing which route to take i see as having worry about the future...will i make it if i go this way? will i make it if i go that way? I feel it as a trust issue...
The boyfriend showing up to save the day just tells me you know you need others (other aspects of you) to help you face the fear of the future.

Applying this second part of your dream to todays life events, i feel you have broken free from the dark, cold place you felt trapped in and are feeling more confident about your role in assisting others, be it in your life there in the UK(Queen) or your, or here in the chat room assisting others wiht you love and guidance. I feel you are seeing others respond to you again and get on board with each other connecting as a group singing Gods praises of love and hope.
sometimes it takes some rockin to do this adn you are ready to Rock our socks off!!

Dear Silvia,

Thank you for your interpretation of my dream. What you have said, makes a lot of sense. I often have water based dreams, at one time, I was constantly dreaming of tsunami's or tidal waves, so at least they have calmed downed a lot, in that respect

Often dreams do mirror our life, and often all choices before us can be difficult. It is good to know that we are not always dependent on ourselves for help, that help does come to us from those around us. I was frustrated by the fact that I couldn't operate the underwater vessel myself. Maybe this might indicate that I should look at learning more coping skills!!!

The second part of the dream was funny. I don't know if I was a Queen in a previous life, I wish I still had that royal way with me in this life, maybe I'd get more done..lol I did feel a strong sense of liberation when I came out of that snow cavern. As you know snow and Ice can indicate a sense of being frozen and immobile, any growth being frozen. I obviously, needed to free myself from this to be able to move forward. Being encased in Ice or snow also indicates a going into hibernation phase. As in Wintertime, but the positive thing I look for in this, that is in Winter, we may think that things are dead, but really new life is being germinated, ready to spring forth when the THAW comes.

Ilona.... thank you as well for your interpretation, it was very insightful. I can relate to what you have said, As many others like me, I often feel overwhelmed by life's circumstances.

The second part of the dream, is reassuring because, although it is a different part of the dream, it does show me being able to break out of that situation or mind set, freeing myself to move forward. Feeling very much stronger.

Just something to think about

Water represents emotions in many metaphysical disciplines… Ice and snow are both indicative of our emotional states as well… because they are water in a different state of being…. Water itself shows that your emotions are flowing… ice and snow… show frozen emotions… or yes as you put it Kaz… we are immobile because of our emotional state at the time.

Seeing that you broke out ... it's all good you are free to move ahead to explore and experience life.
