Brother dream

I had this dream last night where I was with my older sister and we were going to have a visit from my younger brother who we hadn't seen in years...When he arrived he was very loving and a very forward thinking spiritual type of person. He got a call from a friend of his who he asked me to go meet and with. I went to meet his friend and liked him very much but when i called and told my brother this information he was mad at his friend for trying to date me. I had the feeling that my brother was gay and mad that the guy liked me. I didn't say this to anyone though.

Now, i was suddenly not with that other guy but on a trip to my brothers house which was a tree house, kind of like a hippie pad. There were many people coming there to gather for a religious or spiritual kind of thing but it was a surprise to me...Suddenly a group of African American women started singing loud fun gospel songs and dancing, clapping hands etc. All joined in and the tree house was filled with wonderful people but i felt very concerned about where my brother put my purse. I wanted to look for it but kept running into people blocking me from the area i was going to check for it. All the while not able to find my brother to ask him where he put it.

It all seemed like i needed to get out of there so i left and went on the road walking, looking for someone who could give me some money to buy gas for my walk...lol...i suppose i was a car, lol!! Dreams can really be strange, lol.

I don't remember anymore but it was unresolved and i woke up.


Anybody have any thoughts??

When we dream of family members, it is usually connected with the need to reinforce familial roots. You dream of your sister and brother and a family reunion, again this reinforcing the need to gather your family around you. To dream of a male and female can also represent aspects of yourself. The women being an ideal or someone who has characteristics you admire and aspire to, your brother, an ideal male, or he may have masculine attributes that you admire. I don't think it is very relevant that you think that your brother may be gay in your dream. It may just indicate that he is in touch with his feminine side. Maybe the fact you have not seen him for some time, may at least on your part have caused some resentment or hurt to your feelings. It is normal within families to have rifts from time to time, it only shows that we care.

WOW KAZ...spot on!! as if you were right there in my head and heart. Of course i suppose you were when you read the dream, LOL!!

I haven't seen brother in years and have reached out and he hasnt responded yet....he severed ties with our parents about 6 yrs ago and hasn't spoken to any of us since. We were very close before that. I do know i am in his heart as he is in mine!

Wow, also i have always been very attracted to the African culture, love their art, music food and even had many relationships with african american men and had my first child with an african american man. Love the Gospel church and use to attend. Music is my connection to God when i cant seem to connect in other ways.

I have been a lil concerned with money because i am not working at present and really have no income expect what hubby hands me. So if i ever decided to go it alone, i would need money. And the walking was right on about me feeling its slow going, i do have issues with patience as you all know! but also, i hurt my knee a few weeks ago and haven't been able to go on long walks like i was before, i feel a lot slower than normal for me.

Dea so much of what you said rings true also....My brother definitely has issues with authority and would never face them, always acted he was above it all!!

also, yes i do have a daily issue with the opposite sex and i will talk with u privately about that sometime...not meant for the board.

aslo , yes to wanting to be more expressively creative and wanting it to lead to freedom. I do feel i have lost identity but am glad because it was an identity of things i was telling myself that were not really true. I am sure there are alot more things blocking my true identity though and yes i am on a quest for love, always!!
