Another Dream!!

It seems that I am hogging the dream board these days with my dreams...so come on you guys, I want to see some of your dreams on here too. Until then, here goes again..

It is daytime, and my boyfriend and I are running up a great green grassy hill. At the top of the hill, we find a cottage and some outbuildings. My boyfriends clothes need repairing, so he takes them off so I can sew them. (brave of him considering I can't sew for toffee..
) He only has his underwear on. When the farmer and his sons turn up. I shield my boyfriend from their gaze to preserve his modesty.

Then I find myself standing slightly apart from them, and feel the most unusual sensation in my arms and shoulders and back. The most intense prickling sensation and the feeling of something sharp and soft sticking out of me. I realise I have sprouted wings..lol not like an Angel..but bird wings, bird feathers sprouting out of me, and without a thought I'm whoosh swept up into the air by the wind. I swoop and fly, I'm human, but its as if I have the upper body of a bird of prey I'm not sure what, its either a falcon or an eagle..it might even be an Owl..my feathers are chocolate browns and whites. It takes me a while to land again, as the wind keeps lifting me up. I fly over the valley and hills.

I land and go into the farmhouse, to find my boyfriend dressed and having made friends with the farmer and his family they have prepared a wedding feast. A beautiful cake, and the most gorgeous flowers.

I then find myself in a hospital, where my boyfriend and I are looking after these children. They are not ours, we are taking care of them. One of the little girls, has no legs, and she is poorly, we are told that she might not make it and that we should tell her so..it is very upsetting..I wake up.

well, there is a variety of symbology there, I look forward to hearing your interpretations..

Sounds like you feel like a care taker and yet feel yourself breaking free after you have made sure things are safe for the ones you take care of.

Tied to the human side yet sprouting your freedom to fly and soar above it all, Watching the world from above. I would say the tingling sensations were that you wish for more physical acknowledgment of your spirituality, maybe more feelings during meditation that make you want to float above yourself and feel it.
The feeling of flying so free is such a relief from the human side of things that you just dont want to come down very hard and be stuck there very long.
When you get back you see that not only was everything ok with you being gone but they have even been able to take care of everything and have a life and make connections to the point of a union of marriage about to take place.
Is the hospital with the poor little girl with no legs possibly a feeling of what could happen if you do spout wings and fly free for awhile....maybe you feel you will become free but lose part of yourself that connects you to the ground, like you legs for example? Maybe so free that you feel you may not "make it" back. Hmmm, what do you think?

Your having a struggle in a achieving a goal, you seem to be escaping the responsibities and problem that may be associated with your home. There is a flaws in your thinking or thought process. your logic is not making sense. you need to alter your reasoning and make a strong argument. you need to be less arrougant and/or assertive in your real-life situation. You need to be more humility and be more even-tempered. you might be trying to escape from a difficult situation, from your issues about a commitment and independents. You need to get back to the flow of everyday life. your lacking balance, autonamy or independence in your life.

Hi Kaz...

You are a lucky girl to have so many vivid dreams that you can remember. I can not join here with posting because for reaso not known even to myself i seldom dream.

I found you dream interesting and yes it is full of symbols.

In the beginning of you dream you are running to a farmhouse..... the house in my opinion offers shelter and safety. So I think you two were happy and in search of a place you could find some privacy and comfort.

The clothes you speak of again to me are a symbol of security and protection for what else do we basically wear cloths for. It is deeper than fashion. Don't you think? In you taking care of these clothes symbolizes to me your nurturing love and care you offer to your boyfriend.

The next part of the dream you see yourself with wings. No brainer there you are an angel. ;D But it goes deeper than that. In the part you see your lower body human and you head as a bird screams to me of Egyptian beliefs where the human body bird head represents a god. That could be maybe an archetype. You are the closest to a goddess I know. And again the birds you mentioned may be associated with power animal, also speaking to you. The brown colors might possible symbolize your connection to the earth.

The last part, the hospital, children, absence of legs.... this is pure speculation here, but maybe it is a message of how cruel the world is, or perhaps a mothers instinct to have compassion for injured children or children being treated unjustly.

Of course as you know I rarely take a stab at dream interpretation, but i had to reply to this one.

Another dream Kaz; Wow, you sure are a busy girl!

As I read the first section with you running up hill… it tells me things are looking up and along the way there has been a lot of healing going on for both you and yours. The cottage and out buildings I feel refers to your living arrangements… the cottage being your main ‘home’ and the out buildings being a play on words here….as in the buildings on their way ‘out’ of your life. Selling property or finalizing it?

Hmmm.. now the boyfriend taking off his clothes… I’m really trying not to get a visual here.. lol… this tells me that you are being given a certain level of trust. His clothes need repair … this trust needs some repair, yes… but the fact that he gives you the clothes to sew… shows he has confidence in you to make the necessary repairs. You shielding him from the farmer and his sons…. Hmmm what are you shielding him from in real life? Or more so … who?

Ah… spouting wings… this is beautiful….standing between your boyfriend and the farmer and sons… as a shield, has made you grow in many ways. The feelings you experienced I the dream, if you look back on things I’m sure describe some of the things you felt throughout this journey… those feelings were intense prickling =intense irritations, and at times people were sharp with you and other times very soft with you… after all the things you’ve been through to get here… you have now sprouted wings… and are learning to fly (metaphorically speaking).

The wind that picks you up… is typically associated with air; corresponding to thoughts, ideas, and communication (words). When we look at your dream… you are get swept up by the wind… so this is showing you that you can easily get swept up by thoughts, ideas, and or what people are talking about. The colours of your feathers… browns and whites… both ends of the spectrum; browns reminding you to ground yourself; whites reminding you to approach situations from a spiritual stance (use discernment, instead of getting caught up in all the hype of others) .

Once you land… you notice everyone is friends… hmmm look what happens when you are not there to shield someone…. This is a lesson for you to keep in mind. You are not responsible for others and their reactions; you are only responsible for your own thoughts and actions. All will work out as it is meant to in the end. Is there a celebration coming around the corner…with family and friends?

The last little bit in the hospital… are you taking care of someone or something for someone? I get a sense that it’s been a long time already… and this almost feels like it’s yours to some degree. But the original owner will be in touch with you … looking to get it back.

This dream has really given you a glimpse of where you’ve been and where you are now… and a bit of what’s to come…wow! Thank you for sharing and giving me the opportunity to share my thoughts on it. As usual, take what sits right and true for you and leave the rest.
