When Divinities visit

Never posted a dream before, so this should be an exciting experience ;D

After a group healing here at Godlight, that night I had an amazing dream:

I was standing in a forest with tall trees, beautiful grass on the ground and the canopy above whistling with wind. Animals off in the distance.

Two figures walked toward me, both female garbed in old style clothing (togas and robes). I knelt immediately onto the ground, knowing their names before I saw their faces: Demeter & Diane...the Greek Goddesses (Gaia & Artemis). Their very presence as they walked toward me was beyond expression in words.

I locked eyes with the ground, lost in the soothing feeling as they came before me. I could feel their smiles upon me and their purpose apparent: They were there for me. Of all people, they chose me.

Demeter (on my left) knelt and pushed apart the soil at my feet and Diane did the same. Demeter dropped what looked like a large acorn into the hole and they both covered it lovingly. In the span of a thought, the ground burst open and a large tree began to grow, growing as tall as the others and higher in mere moments.

I can only begin to speculate on its meaning, but the feeling I'm left with is not humbleness (even though that was apparent in their presence), but that this was a thank you as much as it was "We're proud".

I've told many of this dream and never captured it correctly. I believe this is very close, except that I cannot express the feeling they gave me when they approached. It was surreal, serene, and truthful.

This is a very beautiful dream, no wonder it has left such a lasting and profound impression upon you.

Trees symbolize life and the soul. Some change with the seasons and others stand up to harsh conditions. In this case you have two very powerful Goddesses, Demeter, the mother Goddess, mother of Persephone Queen of the Underworld. Legend says that Demeter was responsible for bringing forth the fruits of the world. She taught mankind the art of ploughing and sowing, she is also the fertility goddess. So having her in your dream just on her own, is a very positive and powerful affirmation of growth in your life, I would say on all levels. In your dream she demonstrates this by planting a acorn at your feet. The old adage springs to mind with this, "from little acorns, great Oak tree's grow". From this I would say, pay attention to any new idea's that come to mind and for any new projects started now, this is a very auspicious dream.

Diana the Huntress, wow another very powerful female archetype. She is the Goddess of the Hunt but is also a protectress of the animals of the woods. She was very agile, athletic and dynamic. I would say that she indicates that great energy is being made available to you. To help you in your life's path, with what ever projects or agenda that you currently have. The appearance of these two Goddesses in your dream both linked very powerful, to growth, fertility and the earth, could also indicate that you could do with spending more time relaxing outside, enjoying the fruits of nature, There are many levels on which this dream can be interpreted and all meanings have value. The pressures of every day life sometimes make it impossible for us to slow down and smell the roses as it were. By making time to relax, it will help you to focus your mind and really decide in which direction you wish your life to go in. Whichever way you decide to go, this dream indicates very powerfully, that the idea's and the energy to carry them through are being made available to you.

This is just my interpretation of your dream Bennuwings, only take from it that which resonates with you and discard the rest. I would appreciate your feedback on it.

Thank you for your insight sparklekaren. I've been working on spiritual development for the past few weeks now and in truth I had reached a plateau in what I thought I could accomplish (i.e. issues resolved and accepted, made peace with my life and found harmony, and also started to forge my once precious independence again).

In truth I never expected nor asked for any reward from the celestials...I am very happy with what I've accomplished and I fell like I can breathe again. My mind being no longer cluttered and being in harmony with myself again is worth amounts immesurable.

That they would come to me when in this harmonious state does speak volumes for sure and that they would come of their own volution together touches me deeply.

I assume this dream happened a little while ago, and that you are now in a position to reflect and look back to see the dynamics that have been happening in your life. From what you have said, they have been all very positive and productive. I am sure there are many out there who would envy the position you are now in, myself included

To have peace of mind and to feel content with what one has accomplished, is a truly wonderful place to be. I am very happy for you. I loved what you said about being able to breathe again, again a state of being that is yearned for by many. Thank you for sharing this with us.
