Auras ( How to see them and your experiences)

Hi, Yes I did have a strange experience once. I was at the church one night & when the meduim came to me everything behind him went green (EVERYTHING) there was nothing else in sight, just this green light.xxx

Hi,

I don't see colors as such but what I do see, is a silvery shimmer around the body, or something similar to what you can see off a hot road in the summer. Sometimes, it moves, flashes. Occasionally, I will see a hint of one one or two colors, but its rare.

That is really neat Leon! I once had my picture taken with one of those cameras, it was really cool to see the colors. they then did a full reading from the colors they saw. I may still have this picture somewhere maybe ill look for it. As for myself I dont see auras. One time I tried to tune into peoples aura while out in the store it and didnt see but sensed some peoples color. Wether I was correct or not that would never know,lol!!!! I dont know what the colors mean. Does anyone know the colors meaning that they could share?

First Step.

Simply glare your eyes at the mirror for a short while.






You should start seeing different colours around the rim of the mirror. The edge of the black inside the frame and outside, should start showing colours. Mainly Reds, yellows and blues.

Now this is not the actual Aura of the mirror as it is computer generated. But you are practicing focusing your eyes. At a later date when practicing on living objects all will make sense. But for now just practice on see these simple colours.

Hi all.

This is a subject that I am really interested in at the moment. I have a basic understanding of auras, but am currently reading a book I got from the spiritual bookstore on this site. It is called 'Hands of Light'. It explains in depth the functions of the human energy field and it is absolutely fascinating!!

I'm really excited about embarking on this new pathway of learning and encorporating it into the work I do already. I just hope and pray that I have the time to give it the attention it needs!!!

So needless to say I will be looking in here to read other peoples views and experiences, so thanks to all for your input. I'm sure it will be a great help to me in my endeavours and good luck to all of you with yours!

Second Step.

You will need 2 items, A pair of glasses and a flower.



The stronger the lense of the glasses the better. As you need to practice putting your eyes out of focus.

Try to do the next part outside in sun light.

While wearing the glasses hold a flower at arms length in front of you. Focus on the petals but look beyond the petals, though still focusing on the petals.

The glasses will have helped you put your eyes out of focus to see the aura around the flower. You may just see a white haze around it, or more colour if you are more successful.

Keep practicing this over a few days. Please do not jump any steps, as this is the ground work you need to do to see auras properly.

After a few days try looking at the flower the same way without the glasses.

Try to look at it cross eyed or print this page out and look at the shapes on a piece of paper.

interesting stuff. I read something awhile ago - cant remember what, though, about seeing auras, and the mirror lesson was in there. I have a wonderful 1940s jewellery box, and it is simply a rectangle of wood, with a stand up mirror in it, so when you open it, the mirror folds out and makes a triangle of the whole box, iyswim, so I practised with that, and found that I could see a yellowish/whitish haze all around my head, it becomes quite easy to unfocus your eyes after awhile, and I also find that on very wintry days, when you can see your breath, there is often a whitish haze around everything living in the garden....perhaps this is the beginning of wisdom? I will continue with my lessons and see what happens!!

Hi all xx

I read a post by Zanna yesterday, I think, saying about how she may of felt the energy of a tree the other day. She mentioned that the wind was blowing the tree all over the place and that she sent thoughts out asking for calm. I thought that this was a beautiful thing and it must have stuck in my mind.

Well, I have been hoping to begin to see auras. (obviously, thats why i'm on this page!) Earlier tonight when I was sitting in my car waiting for my daughter, I had a mini 'maybe' experience.

I was sitting there and the wind was howling like mad. I looked at these poor trees standing strong in the wind, and thought of Zanna and her experience. I sent out loving thoughts to the tree, and did a bit of prana breathing (cheers Nath!) and asked to blend with it, to feel its energy. I didnt get much of a feeling of energy, but as i looked at the bare branches reaching upwards, i thought i saw/sensed a soft purple energy near the top. I thought this was a strange colour to see in the energy of a tree. I suppose i was expecting a green or something. (didnt even realise that i had any expectations!)

Next i looked at the tree next to him....(oops I meant to say 'it' not 'him', but maybe it wasnt an accident....him it is!!)

The tree next to him was slightly bigger and slightly further away. They were both planted in the school grounds next to each other and i think they were the same sort of tree (but not sure). When i looked at this tree i saw/sensed a yellow hue, again near the top of the tree.

Leon, is there a reason why i'm seeing the energy at the top of the tree? I say saw the energy, but i dont think i did see it exactly.

What do you think?

Ah kel, Thats wonderful. If you are working with nature spirits like fairy's for example, then thats probably why you sensed what you did. Keep in touch babe,xxx

myself and my wife both had arua photos done last year,and a reading ,my wife just kept changing colour for around 30 mins mine just stayed red, from the minute it was taken,the red got no deeper on lighter,strange but great experince,will post them if anyone interested in seening them.

oh, Kelly, what a marvellous experience, how amazing.

When I meditated last night, I kept getting a smallish being with wings!!! My first ever fairy, I think....I would never have thought of even a fairy existing, as I am a little sceptical about their existence until I read of zanna's experiences....now I feel as you do, Kelly, that perhaps the natural world is our next stop so to speak.....she was wonderful, with long golden hair and an amazing sense of peace and tranquility came over me.

Last night was the first time I "sat inside my soul" - this is wonderful and a truly life enhancing meditation experience......I was given some instruction on meditation by a friend of mine who said that you could use a thread to draw down your soul into your body, filled with white light, then "sit inside your soul" to meditate....this is your higher consciousness and it brings with it all the knowledge of your past lives and your experiences of karmic understanding, and helps you to then proceed with your understanding in this life based on what you set out to do in the first place.

I truly had a sense of being lifted into a little warm safe cocoon, where nothing could harm me, and then the fairy appeared....at least I presume that is what she was. The name Maria came to me, too.

Anyway, sorry, guys, I appear to have hijacked the aura thread!!

I wonder what happened??

Lol, Lizzie! Maria is my sisters name you know. She goes into the chat room on occaision but has never been on the boards to my knowledge, so you wont of met.

We must discuss that meditation further, it sounds great. Basically you were blending with your higher self?
