The End of The World...Or Not?

Hi guys,

Been a long time since I last came on here! But as ever, I've had many strange dreams. Two of which really stuck out at me, here's a brief summary -

1. In this first dream I can remember being a wolf, I was still human but had all the characteristics and instincts of the wolf, I would crouch down and bare my teeth to people and growl lol, and I think other people were doing the same. It was like some sort of strange animal world.

2. This was the most important one which I had a few nights ago. I was in an underground cave with some old friends and was watching the end of the world on a massive computer screen on the wall. It was ending because of human technology and the destruction this caused to the earth, global warming had made it accelarate so it heated up much quicker because of the emissions from the technology. I remember knowing a massive mushroom cloud was going to happen like the one from a nuclear blast. There was a percentage meter on the screen counting up to the time when the earth would die, and I watched it gradually rise, it was a horrible feeling. A man that could have been a scientist was standing by it and was saying something along the lines of 'Not even God's light can save us now'. But it was a specific kind of light like a blinding tube of white directed at earth. I remember seeing a figure who must have been God appear in the cave and then everything went white and the whole place filled with white light. Then as quickly as it started it ended and I realised that God had decided to save the earth and we were all going to live.

In the first part of your dream you see yourself as a wolf. I thought you would be interested in this extract from Native American Totem animals. See if any of this animals nature and traits resonate with you in any way.

Wolf: loyalty, perseverance, success

Wolves have been long regarded by Native Americans as teachers or pathfinders. Wolves are fiercely loyal to their mates, and have a strong sense of family while maintaining individualism. In the stars, Wolf is represented by the Dog, Sirius, thought by many aboriginal tribes to be the home of the Ancients. Wolves are probably the most misunderstood of wild animals. Tales of cold-bloodiness abound, in spite of their friendly, social and intelligent traits. They are truly free spirits, even though their packs are highly organized. They seem to go out of their way to avoid a fight. One is rarely necessary when a shift in posture, a growl, or a glance gets the point across quite readily.

Traditionally, someone with Wolf Medicine has a strong sense of self, and communicates well through subtle changes in voice inflection and body movements. They often find new solutions to problems while providing stability and support that one normally associates with a family structure.

As for the second part of your dream, going underground or into a cave, is symbolic of returning to the womb, a safe place. You are talking about the end of the world, so a cave would make sense when looking for protection, somewhere you feel secure. When we dream about death, or the end of the world as we know it, it is rarely about actual death or an Armageddon scenario. It is about change, moving forward, the end of one life and the beginning of another. Or that period that is just before change occurs. The reference to God and the light, is your own spiritual awareness and ideals kicking in, giving you the reassurance that you need at this point where you think that the world is about to end, or rather the world as you know it. Here is where you will gain calmness and a sense of inner stability. Go inwards, meditate do some type of relaxation where you connect with your higher self This will help you, make you feel grounded and calm.

The computer screen is linked to modern technology. There is a clue here, in one sense it could be about moving forward with the times or remembering to keep in touch with your intuitive self and not to be overtaken by trends and technology. You must decide which of these situations may apply to you, maybe both do!!

Change is scary at any time in our lives. Learn to go with the flow and to take things as they come, don't worry so much about the future.
