a few weeks ago I had a dream that I got up to get ready like I usually do. I really thought I was a wake. I stepped into the shower and I felt that Jesus was beside me. I heard a familiar voice say "Jesus is always with you, he is always around you" I then was surrounded by a golden light and my body dropped like a feather and my body rocked back and forth to the ground. It was so peaceful. My dream ended and I ended up in a strange place. I asked God to get me out and I was scared. I then ended up in my old house where I grew up. I was struggling to get out of a bed and I could feel my soul leaving. I felt like I was fading away. I was trying to yell for my mother to come. I kept seeing a white light as I was fading. My mom finally came and she held me in her arms..I kept telling her that I am dying and I can't wake up. She said no your not and she was shaking me. As I started to fade I thought of my son and family and I finally ended up seeing all white and I finally woke up for reals. I woke up crying a lot I had tears already. This dream really has me confused...

Wow, what a powerful dream.
Sometimes when we dream, we have false awakenings, this is when we get up, have a wash or shower and start the day. Then we realise we are dreaming. So its a combination of false awakening and what is called a Lucid dream. Lucid dreaming is when we are aware that we are dreaming, within the dream.
Water is purifying and cleansing also symbolic of the emotions. You heard the words 'Jesus is always with you'. The presence of a religious figure in our dreams is linked to our higher spiritual self. You are simply affirming that God or Jesus is present in your life. This can also be very comforting, especially if you are going through any type of stress or a difficult period in your life.
The golden light is symbolic of spiritual energy, Gold can be connected to the aura, symbolising Wisdom. When you describe your body becoming as light as a feather and dropping to the ground, I believe it is describing the physical body, being shed and allowing the spiritual body to be released. This can happen in astral traveling or in someone having an out of body experience. Or simply symbolic of shedding our physical cares and woes and being pure spirit and rising above our troubles. In all of the conditions a sense of peace is often described as being felt by the dreamer. Fear sometimes comes into play when lucidity kicks in and you remember yourself and panic a little. But this is because it is a new experience for you. You need to understand that nothing bad is happening to you and that you are always connected to your body. Once awareness returns you will feel your body as solid.
You describe feeling as though your soul is leaving your body, and seeing a white light. This is sometimes described by people who have journeyed from this life to the next. Your Mother comes to you and reassures you that this is not happening. When family figures appear to us in our dreams, it can indicate a need for familial support, for strengthening our roots. A mother figure will give reassurance and comfort. Your unconscious mind may have called for her as you were feeling afraid.
When we dream about death, it very rarely means dying. It simply describes life becoming transformed that you are dying to the old ways and being born into the new. Moving from one state of being to another. A white light is purifying and of the highest spiritual condition. Looking at your second dream and its description of praying over and healing people, my feeling is that you have a healing gift, a real calling to help people as Grace has said. Your body and mind is being prepared and you are being helped to adjust, prepare for the vibration and energy that you will be using. This is a very special dream for you One, and you should not be afraid, as the voice said, Jesus is with you and what you are doing is very special.
