Is there any tv shows that you all like that tend to your heart?

I dont know if any of you haved seened Touched by an Angel, but it used to be on tv along time ago here. Every time I watch that show I really warms my heart!! Well a while back It popped into my head and I went out searching to see if I could by the tv series on dvd. I could find them on line but non in the stores. Just last week I was out shopping and came across a set of the series! I was soo happy! So Ive been watching at least one show a night and my kids too and they laugh at me cause I cry with each one!,lol

Anyone else have a favorite show or movie that is spiritual or heart warming that they love? jess

Hi Jess,

Yes, "Touched by an Angel" does the same thing to me, I end up crying after each one, tears of joy as well as tears of sadness. Annother series I used to love watching, especially when I was younger, was "The Waltons". I loved that, the way the whole family loved and cared for each other. Each episode had a message of one type or annother. I loved John Boy's narratives. I bet you think I am daft, but I loved it.

Hi karen, Im not sure about the angel programme but I love wildlife programmes & films with animals in them. I saw 2 films recently 8 below about some husky's & brother bear 2. Both made me cry!!! Im sooooo wimpyyy. God Bless hun,xxx

Happy to see you like Touched by an angel and yet it doesnt surprise me! I know I seen waltons yet dont remember it very well. My daughter is now watching my shows with me at night and she laughs at me cause she says mommy you cry in the middle and you cry at the end,lol! I dont care if people think Im silly cause it helps me remember things about my self!

Zanna I just watched 8 below too and cried my eyes out,lol my hubby was alughing at me!!! Very good movie!!

Hi to you both Jess and Zanna,

To you Jess, yes, I too cry in the middle and at the end..lol As you say, its because they situations we can recognise and connect to, and to the words we are hearing, and the scripts are wonderful, we empathize with, and strikes a chord. Its a wonderful show that reaches out to the audience and reminds them of things that need to be remembered. Zanna!! I loved 8 below too!! watched it with my son a couple of months ago. Its a story about love and devotion and the connection we have with animals every bit as much as humans. In fact, the connection with have with our animals is sometimes stronger. maybe its because an animals love is totally unconditional and as long as you love them and treat them well, they will love you for life.

Other programmes I used to adore watching, was Grizzly Adams, and Little house on the prairie. You know the guy in little house on the prairie, he also played an Angel in another show, which was also great..but the name of it escapes me for the moment. maybe someone else will know.

Well I just can't help my self. I watched Turner & Hooch and cried (again!) everytime!!! It's bit old but shows such a wonderful story of love, compassion & understanding. And how to except someone without judgement true unconditional love.xxx

That is going to drive me mad Kaz! What was that programme called with him in off little house on the prairie!! He was an angel with twinkly eyes......gonna see if anyone can remember at work.
