Hi everyone, My daughter who is 12 had a dream last night. She dreamt that she was in the living room on the sofa and she saw a ghost in her room. the ghost was taking things from her room. Like her personal personal things. I just like to know what this means.
thanks Jackie

Hi Jackie, In general ghosts can represent aspects of yourself that you fear. Maybe even repressed thoughts. Your daughter at 12 is in puberty and going through a lot of emotional upheaval and changes in her body. It is a common age for this type of dream, also dreams of death are very common. They become aware of their own mortality, and often dream about losing loved ones. Losing teeth dreams and hair falling out is quite common at this age too. I was constantly dreaming my teeth were crumbling, was almost a nightly occurrence. Still get them sometimes.. I used to dream I had what felt like chewing gum in my mouth, I'd swallow it be afraid I was choking and try and pull it out, but the more I pulled it out the more there was..yards of the stuff...long and sticky..goodness knows what that was...sorry going off on a tangent here..haven't thought about that for years..lol The ghost was going through her personal possessions taking things from her room. This too is about the need for privacy. Is she worried about anything at school do you know? Maybe its time for one of those Mother daughter chats... Did she recognize the ghost?? It maybe that she has been visited by a spirit that is looking for something, I don't like to immediately jump to that conclusion, but it could be another reason!! I am sure it is nothing to worry about...just reassure her and encourage her to discuss any worrying dreams she may have with you. In the light of day, and a chat with Mum, fears fade away.. Love and light Kaz
