for a long long time I've wondered about my animal spirit guide yet I made no effort to contact him because I knew when the time was right he would contact me. Last night I got a new pet cat, he's only 15 weeks old and his name is Jack, the owner had to get rid of him because she can't have animals in her new house and she was heart broken. I tried to reassure her that we would take care of him. Last night I had a dream and within that dream I think I had a vision and I haven't dreamt in a while. As per usual I can't remember mostly of what I dreamt but I'll tell you what I do remember.
I remember being in a building but it looked like it was kind of a market/ shopping mall. I remember looking down and seeing Jack at my feet and I think I was in a food place, something like Greggs. Next thing I know I'm approached by a guy with black hair and he told me that his name was Jeremy, in my dream my cats name was Jeremy too and not Jack (I think I changed his name for some reason) one of us suggested going somewhere to talk in private. I don't just go anywhere with a guy in private for no good reason but I just went instinctively. We were in a corridor (I think) and there were still people there but they acted as if we were invisible. My cat was still with me and Jeremy told me that he was my animal guide and pointed to my cat. We talked more but I can't remember exactly what he said.
Any help or advice on this dream would be ver much appreciated.
thanks guys

Hi Jen, What a great dream, I love cats they are so beautiful and mysterious aren't they.. The Ancient Egyptians revered cats and regarded them as holy. The cat goddess Bast or Bastet was a very important Goddess. If any cat was killed the person who was responsible would be severely dealt with and when a cat died they were buried with ceremony and grieved for for a considerable time. You are in a building that looks like a shopping mall or market. This is a place where food is sold, in dream symbology food is nourishment, emotional nourishment. Your cat is with you representing your psychic, mystical side. Take the thought along and intuitively I sense that you are being asked to give more thought to or feed this aspect of your nature. This could be through reading, taking courses, and if you are so inclined to try meditating or any form of relaxation practice that will help you to access your inner psyche. The cat may also be your Animal Guide, a delightful companion for you to use when you go on your inner journey.. The male in your dream could also be another guide!! A man in dream symbology can be what we see as our ideal partner or a male who has qualities that we desire in a partner. Also they could be representative of the male qualities that you have in yourself. Only you can decide which role this man represents to you. You do trust him and you say that this is instinctive. Again, I go with a guide or higher self figure. We can incubate dreams (incubate means to recreate the right condition/atmosphere) or have a little more control over them then we think. If you wish to remember or go back to this dream as you may feel that what Jeremy had to say to you was important. Then you can do, simply lie quietly before sleep and keep asking your higher self that you may go back to the dream or that another opportunity be presented to you so that can discover what it was that you were being told. If it is important, for you to know. I hope you like the picture Jen as usual only take from this interpretation that which resonates with you, it is only my interpretation. Love and light Kaz

I've always loved cats, there's something so different and unusual about them. They're naturally feminine and move so quietly and swiftly like a spy yet proud like royalty. I've always had a thing for egypt to and I also seem to have memories of a place simular to egypt yet it's not egypt, it's like a cross between egypt and rome. I could stare at that picture for ages examining every single little detail.
It's funny how you suggested me meditating as I was thinking about it last night and would have done so if it wasn't for shauns snoring. I couldn't sleep because I was thinking of Lyssa too much but couldn't help myself and I thought of how wonderful it would be to have a sanctuary where I could escape to and not worry about anything for a short time. I then realised that I could and that it would be so easy but as I chill out in my little sanctuary I would also be meditating. I've been trying to find time to write down my little idea so that others could try it to as it would also give guides and other beings chance to meet with them when it would be needed. You suggested me going back to my dream, with this I wouldn't have to and I would have more control. I severly lack control in my dreams (I almost got tore apart last night with a dream of Lyssa getting hurt) and I also only remember certain bits, with this I would be in control.
I feel even more excited with trying this new technique out and can't wait to tell everyone about this and hope that they try it.
You also suggest that the male is seperate from the cat, I don't think so as I got the feeling, and he strongly hinted, that he was the cat and he might have approached me as a human so that we could talk and that I could relate to him better.
What you've said has made a heck of a lot of sense. This dream was basically a sign, a sign that I was ready to take the next step and that the universe has been giving me signs, symbols to show me to move on. I'm ready and this is what I need to move forward and I am going to. I just need to meditate before shaun gets home and before he goes to sleep, either that or plug his gob with a sock.
Thank you so much Karen, you're a star! God bless!!!

Hi Jen,
I am so glad that this has helped and has been of interest to you. I loved the picture and couldn't resist posting it. She's beautiful isn't she!!
As for Jeremy and the cat being one, only you can decide that, it does make sense. I meant to ask was the cat in the dream Black??
The meditating makes great sense try and make the time if you can it will really help you. I'm trying to take my own advice at the moment, but oh, the distractions..lol For me, bath time, is usually the best time.
Love and light Kaz

it's weird how you ask if the cat is black. My cat is black and white but in my dream I don't remember ever seeing any white on the cat, only black even though I know the cat in my dream is the one I've just adopted.
I'm planning on having a bath tonight so I can try it then cos my bones are aching lol!
Thanks again hunni
