Haunted House Dream?

Hiya Guys,

I had this dream last night, really strange but then that is nothing new really lol. It went something like this:-

I can remember being at a fairground and standing outside like a haunted house, the woman waiting to go in was me and yet it was like I was viewing it from outside of myself. I heard someone say to me 'Your turn' and I went inside. As I go inside the house is more like a real manor house than a fairground ride and really old fashioned and creepy. I go from room to room with things going on and jumping out at me which I somehow know I have to overcome. I then reach this particular room where I see a huge iron doorway on a platform and I find I have a sword in my hand that glows faintly with light. From out of the doorway then comes figures dressed like the 'death eaters' from Harry Potter (lol) and other things which I know are 'evil', also everything seems to be associated with metal. There seems to be a commanding figure behind them ordering them to hurt or kill me?. This is the gruesome bit, where I have to kind of stab the sword right through the middle of these creatures which scream and die. Then somehting really strange happens where I see a friend of mine lying on top of one of these creatures having just tackled it to the floor, they say something to me like 'Do it, you have to' and I somehow know that to kill the creature I am going to have to stab the sword through my friend aswell Eventually I have no choice and I do this, but when I do a red bloom like a rose emits from my friend's chest and they disappear. The dream ends with me being backed into a corner by these creatures outnumbered and friendless.

Sorry it's quite long guys but I felt I should say everything. Do you have any thoughts to offer?

I'm really interested in this dream Emerald but I'm not ready to say a response yet. I just wanted you to know someone was reading it. One thing I'm pretty sure about is something you probably already know, you don't actually stab anyone or kill anyone and you're not in any great physical danger. I think your instinct about facing fears was accurate, though some of them must seem like very large powerful fears and quite a number of them from your perspective.

Would you tell me a little bit about the good and bad or some instances of what you and this friend do together in real life? I think that would help.

This is a very interesting dream...

To me the fairground may reflect your need for amusement and entertainment. You may have been working hard and have not really made much time for this.

The haunted house on one level is representative of you. The house being the human being, each room representing an aspect of that person. The fact that you say, it is more like a Manor House, indicates that the house is so much more then what is seen on the outside, bigger, grander!!! YOU are so much more then what you appear to be on the outside!! Most of us are, it is amazing how multi faceted we are, how bigger and deeper our minds are then we can possibly imagine.

You are waiting to enter the house, this may mean that you wish to explore these many aspects of yourself. Yet you are also "observing". Would you say that there is an aspect of going within to discover more about yourself, on how you tick, that scares you a little!!! The fact that you say this is a Haunted house, is that because, its in the fairground, or is it because, you feel slightly haunted in yourself??

You explore the house, its rooms, feeling fearful and holding a weapon to fight off, monsters!! These monsters are usually our fears. The more we fear something, the more substance we give it. The sword, is usually representative of discord, but can also be used to cut away at illusion, to reveal to us the truth of a situation. Have you been put in that situation lately?? You are being shown that you have the means and the ability to see things as they really are, do not let your fear hold you back.

In dream symbology when we kill or injure someone it can mean that we have issues to resolve with that person. If you have recently found yourself in a situation in which you are not entirely sure who your friends are it may be that this person in the dream is representative of this situation. Again, use your sword to cut through the confusion. Step back and find clarity.
