My recent girlfriend decided that she no longer wants to date me. I have had several dreams about her since then, but I can only really remember a couple of them. We remain close. We talk on the phone and online. She has a great spiritual mind, and I want to still be together.
The first one was the two of us talking to each other. I had told her that I was seeing someone else already, and she cried and cried. That's it. It seems odd to me because I am the one that would be affected by her dating someone so quickly.
The second one is a little longer, but not by much. She had just had a baby, but acted like she didn't want it. It was still covered in blood from the birth, and she had left it in the corner of a dimly lit room. It was crying, and she just ignored it.
Any thoughts?

ok, here goes..
In our dreams when we dream of a women, it is usually either a younger version or an aspect of ourselves, and if it is a man dreaming of a women, she is usually his ideal mate. The fact that this women is your ex girlfriend is therefore self explanatory. Now then the fact that she is crying. You may be projecting your upset and sadness about the relationship ending onto her, maybe wanting her to feel some of the upset and trauma you have felt. Or on some unconscious level, you may be picking up on the fact that she may also be feeling very sad about it ending. Do not assume that just because she ended the relationship, that she has no feelings about it. Often when a relationship ends, there is a grieving process to go through, even for the person who has ended it. Its the ending of a relationship, time and emotion invested into what has been a big part of the persons life. Wait and see!!
The second dream, this is interesting, again, it is your ex girlfriend you see. In dreams when there is a birth, it is usually connected to either the birth of new idea's, or maybe being re born in some way to yourself. It could be a part of herself, that she is ignoring, but this is your dream, and so it should be part of you. I'm thinking now, that there is a part of you!! A dimly lit room, rooms in dreams are usually to do with our psyche, our mind. Blood in dreams, is usually connected to a loss of strength, life blood. I am trying to thread it together.
You feel rejected..the baby is you...the small vulnerable part of you. When we fall in love and place our trust in someone, it leaves us feeling exposed. The dimly lit mind..maybe another explanation, could be that there is a idea, that has been born in your mind, but is awaiting your attention. You are ignoring it, because your confidence has been affected, by this recent rejection.
What are you feelings on this eager...have u thought about it..
This is just my impressions, anyone else out there, who has any feelings or interpretation of this, feel free to contribute..

Well Karen, I think you might have hit the nail right on the head. I talked to her, and remember that she is very bright in this sort of way as well, and she immediately said that the baby represented me. She also said that her crying represented me as well. It makes a lot of sense what you say about the baby. I have never really bought in to anything other than what I learned in church growing up. My dad was a Baptist pastor, and my mom was the youth teacher at church. I have recently opened my mind to a new way of thinking and it has taken over. I was very skeptical about any other beliefs before. The part about the dim room could explain a lot too. I have been reading and learning all that I can about spirituality. But when I was pushed aside, it hurt and I couldn't even think about anything else, especially my spiritual growth.
Everything is going to work out between the two of us by the way. We talked about an hour after I posted my dreams, and all is well.
