Meditations Once More

I had that feeling again last night, my first proper night meditating after having to stop as I was unwell. Last night was the first night I actually felt well enough to meditate. Thank you all for your good wishes and I am sure I am healed thanks to you all.

I went into meditation and straightaway got the coldness and tingling, but then nothing else. I wonder how long I will feel this feeling before spirit manifests itself? I do not actually want to push things or rush things, but it does feel cold, and when I complete my meditation I always want to cuddle down under the duvet to get warm right away!!

I felt cold all over, and I tingled all over. I get a feeling in my crown chakra like someone is pouring cold liquid over my head and right down my face...it is cold and tingling all the way down...you can imagine how odd and unusual that is!! I also get tingling feelings all over my body and that is very strange. I went into an altered state too last night....oddly, I got the notes that zanna mentioned in my ear whilst meditating....like high pitched noises, and I felt there was a man with a deep voice trying to talk to me....I dont know where that came from....It just seemed to me that the man who was trying to communicate had a deep voice. I didnt hear any voice at all, nor did I see or feel a man there, I just somehow "knew". I could see nothing and I got no flashes of anything at all.

After my 20 minutes or so, I ended the meditation and drifted off to sleep. I was left with lots of coldness, but a sense of peace.

Dear Lizzie,

I am not a medium but I do feel that what you are experiencing with the cold tingling is the effect of spirit being near as Leon has said on an earlier thread. What is happening is that you are both getting used to each others vibration. Both being yourself and the spirit that is drawing close to you.

I am reading a really good book at the moment called Spirit Healing, by a gentleman called Harry Edwards. I love Harry, because he puts things over so well, in simple terms and using straight forward analogies.

He explains, that for communication/healing to take place, the healer or the medium has to match their vibration to that of the spirit. In meditation, in that relaxed state, not when the mind is blank, he says that is practically impossible, but in a state similar to day dreaming. I can relate to that..lol Harry says that he does not like to focus on one specific spirit, or spirit guide/healer, because it is restricting. He concentrates on matching his vibration with the spirit world. Then any spirit that is listening in and feels that they can help, will just drop in.

The ringing in the ears, is very common when someone is starting to become attuned to the spirit vibration. I had it constantly for 18 months after a friend died. I had been giving her healing, and I did take her death very hard. As is always the case, with such a difficult period, a surge in spiritual growth seems to follow. I would get it a lot in the night, when I woke from sleep, as I was so bad a meditating, I guess, in waking and being relaxed, I was in a very receptive state. Frequently when self healing, I hear it. Now, I just relax, and see what happens. You will too, you are getting used to it already, even though u are not keen on the sensation. In fact, you may be able to ask the spirit to remove the sensation of coldness from you, as it distresses you so much. Ask Leon, he will be able to tell you more about that.

thank you so very much for your encouragement Karen. You have really been able to help me with lots. I do not actually dislike the coldness - it makes the cosy duvet seem all the cosier when I snuggle down after finishing my meditations!! I am glad you were able to clear up a few things for me. I will wait to see what comes. I am quite excited, and very curious. I have lots of patience, however, and would never try to rush anything.
