Thoughts & Prayers For Troubled times.

This Small book that I got for my husband was bought in a charity shop, and we're talking pence, so therefore who ever gave it to the Charity shop served a purpose and us buying it served a purpose as the book serves a purpose now. So the prayers & thoughts will serve everyone who maybe in need of a kind word or two.
Isn't it amazing how spirit work how they 'do' get their messages across to many people (God Bless them).

Prayer (For Anxiety)

Most caring, loving and protecting Lord, forgive me for my foolish anxieties. I know that they are wrong. I know that they act as a barrier between and the joy you wish me and all your children to share forever. Dear Lord, you made me and you know my every weakness: The things of this world that frighten me and make me anxious often seem so close, while the things of heaven seem so distance. When I am afraid help me to feel your presence; when I am anxious, teach me to trust more deeply; when the future looks dark and threatening help me to see the light of Christ; When I am tense and nervous grant me that peace which the world cannot give, For the sake of him that died and rose again to bring it, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

I have heard of this Lionel Fanthorpe, he goes around the country doing spiritual talks. I have never seen him myself but his name gets around a lot in England in spiritual circles.

Hello Leon, Krissy,

I have never heard of any of the people that are mentioned here at The Godlight!! I have learned so much since I have been actively working alongside spirit, yet I know I haven't even begun to scratch the suface.

I am so glad to have found this site to help me learn and progress! Being exposed to the names of authors or spiritual teachers that I have never heard of, or even just chatting to others in the chatroom who work differently and have different areas of interest, reading the posts on the message boards, the opportunity to soak up knowledge is priceless.

So thank you Krissy, theres another name to look out for. I'm not sure I will remember it though,lol.

I do know however, that if there is a particular book that is relevant to my pathway at any moment in time, I will be guided towards it, as has happened so many times in the past.
