Last weekend I walked into the lions den, not sure why I went in there, maybe I felt the need to challenge my beliefs, maybe my spiritual ego was full of itself and I thought I was going to kick ass. Turns out, it was mine that was kicked and I left with my tail between my legs. The lions den in question, was an atheist forum, and I have to give it to them, they were an intelligent and educated lot. Basically I had to give evidence for the existence of God, but by their rules, of logic, scientific measurement and the five senses. To my surprise, I couldn’t do it, not by their set parameters, explaining that, led to shouts of illogical and imaginary. To be honest, they had me wondering if I had gone mad. Anyone ever venture into the lions den, hope you put up a better struggle than I did.

HI Robert... nice to see ya,,,, hope all is well ... I think for myself, in these virus days, I think just lying (lioning) around may be better then being chewed on by those mental critical lion's. I think when we know something to be true for ourselves in our hearts and life..trying to prove your right and another beliefs are wrong to me is a waste of valuable time and energy.
Personally, I try to keep out of those dens.. not that I haven't meet those type of den dwellers in the past. Building and becoming an inner connected channel is more important process for myself theses days... and helping where I can.. and leaving it up also to Higher Will where and when I can.

Hi Charlie, I do not believe the intent was to change their beliefs, but rather to put up a good argument, see if I could hold my own. It has reinforced my opinion you can not tell anyone, even Jesus and his disciples were left running for their lives. Which means you are correct, it is a waste of time and energy.
Stay safe.

I used to think, in my naive youth, how much fun it would be to win arguments. Like the proverbial court room speech in a Hollywood movie. Something moving and stirring with irrefutable logic. I discovered in real life people ad libbed and didn't read from scripts even if they did live in a little world of their own making. But here was the catch: a well placed question could and would knock a hole in any armor.
If a person wants no place for God then why do they still have moral convictions? If a person does claim the existence of a deity that is all powerful then who are they to put limitations on God as in who and where He is and even His proper name? To argue politics may be a waste of time but asking why civilization isn't what it is supposed to be under such and such political system seems like a fair question. And of course the ultimate question: is our reality really working or is it some fantasy we won't let go of? Needless to say that also applies to the therapist-challenger-teacher ect. including yourself: what do you have to offer beyond words and arguments?
Some times you stir up a hornets nest, sometimes you get ignored; sometimes you get a reply that totally changes the subject. The latter tells me that person is in retreat and doesn't want to deal with something. "When you are ready a teacher will come".

I think when we know something to be true for ourselves in our hearts and life..
My experiences in the lions den and the above line got me thinking. I take nothing for granted and question everything, I will not believe in anything until I have proof, and I have had my proof. Is it the same for everyone, or is there cases of blind faith. Now I get the feeling I have asked this before, for everyone who believes, how many have experienced spirits intervention in this reality? Mojo.

At one level I don't feel things like emotions and I see no need to pretend otherwise or feel ashamed about this. At another level I seem to almost be guided to experience these things and not experience total failure that would end my life. We usually call this luck. Or just logical choices. I keep thinking about what might exist beyond the 5 senses and how we could verify that. Channeling is a good example. How convenient the spirits speak English! How do I know the Medium isn't just making this up to flatter me? But the "proof is in the pudding". What I am told means so much more to me then the Medium that relays it. They often ask ME for clarification of what they said ( under trance or automatic writing ect. ). What a lot of people can not grasp - and sadly even religious types - is that there are multiple realities all interconnected. Complexities beyond measurement. There is no subjective way to manipulate them. But we still effect them and vice versa.
My latest "odd dream" had me running scared and lost only to encounter a restaurant waitress who knew me ( I had no clue who she was ) and willing to help. In real life I rarely if ever ask for help. Even if I did who is going to help a vicious wounded tiger? But the dream got me to thinking if I needed to be so defensive and that seemed to work ...

George Few random thoughts reading your post..
The restaurant waitress was getting you ready to serve you to be eaten alive for your beliefs perhaps.
or if you don't like what you see -- Change the Channel.
i do think we manipulate our life all the time,,,( mostly unconsciously in most) by every thought, feeling and activity we do. Imagine if we could do it consciously and know it results instantly.......

It is not about the fight of world views the clash of the titans it is about putting your own pieces into one picture. The lions you find in their caves are in your own mind. Why would you want to convince somebody when you are in your unique truth? They roar and howl at you when you can not give evidence for something. That I am alive aware and conscious is my evidence.
Just as I see it we have to transcendend the religion with all its dogma and live our own truth, which is trust in the universe in god in love. This is like it always is, when we connect have respect. Stay firm in your believe.

Whatever ones belief is in regards to who god is as in a physical form or non physical form, atheism simply put is the belief of not believing in god, some people think atheism is the belief that god is physical however that’s not the case because the people that believe god is physical believe in god....
