As I understand this is some anniversary of the Reformation and Martin Luther. At some level you have to admire that guy. He bucked the establishment to enable the common man to better achieve it's spiritual heritage. Alas that came with some side effects or inevitable connections. He thought the Catholic system of salvation was corrupt but never was able to see beyond salvation to the stage of what we now call enlightenment. If he was forced to battle some organized religions he wasn't shy of lumping in Islam and Jewish in the crusade. His anti-Semitism later made a mockery of everything he worked for.
It is sad when you try so hard to do things and much later it seems it was all misguided. That leads to cynicism. "There is nothing worth fighting for". If you believe that then you really don't much want to get involved. To try to become a Saint can just as easily make a fool of yourself. There is a fine line between faith and fetish but the results are worlds apart.
To the Rosicrucians there is NOTHING beyond question except the Creed. Everything changes and eventually for the better. Some are just ahead of the pack and can be of service to lead the way. It can be a lonely life style. There is safety in numbers and you just rejected that. So what do you have left?
If you have conviction you don't have much choice but to obey and know tomorrow will make it all a bit clearer. Not a lot but a little bit clearer ....
