Wow another year is about ended! I didn't do a lot in 2015 but then at my age just staying alive is something. Those around me may not have exactly prospered; a number of people I knew dyed of disease or old age . This site is still going and other sites and meeting venues are still up and running.
It is never very obvious to me rather things are going under or just reinventing themselves.
I see some new faces here and at my local spiritual groups. That is nice. The clubs I volunteer with continued to do service and expand. It is good I can find people to work with and share common goals and inspirations. That makes up for the contentions. It is tempting to think of everything at war with everything else sometimes.
A nearby city - I used to go there to see my cardiologist - now has the dubious distinction of having the worst mass murder in this country in years with 14 people dead. The perpetrators in retrospect seemed tailor made to do what they did. As per usual I am privy to some things hidden that answer some questions at higher levels but the mundane is all the more a mystery. My knowledge is so incomplete.
What I do find very telling is things for me seem to be going in directions in ways I did not expect. Mastering old skills no longer matter as much. It is suggested we are entering a new age and I guess that is so. My most distressing problem is friends and acquaintances that can't or won't even see things the way I do. I never thought of myself as the slightest bit gifted. More like cursed. But I guess I couldn't be normal even if I wanted to.
There is no going back ...
