I am not what I think I am, I am what I think I am not. We think we are this body, mind, intellect, hands, legs, eyes, senses, memory, the ego, our name, our form. We think that we are all this. But today, the thought that comes to me is that I am not what I think I am. So whatever I think I am, all these things put together - my feet, my hands, I am the son of so and so, I am the father of so and so, the brother and the sister of so and so, I am a post graduate in Computer Technology, I am an author, I am a speaker, I am a philosopher, I am a businessman, I am a retailer - these I am not. But I am what I think I am not. I do not think that I am the soul, the spirit, God itself but that is what I am. I do not think I am a part of God but in reality, I am. I am God manifested as the soul, which is encapsulated in this body. Therefore, while I think I am the capsule, which I look like in reality, I am that spirit that lies inside the capsule that is truly nothing but a part of the divine creative energy. Therefore, today the thought that stays with me is that I am not what I think I am, I am what I think I am not.

Hi Air, Lovely post. Reminds me of my favourite Rumi quote. "I am not this hair, I am not this skin, I am the soul that lives within." Thank you for sharing. Love and light Kaz
