Have you ever been in that place, Where, I'am here, but I'am not, Where everything is calm, everything is quiet, silent and effortless, no thought, no happy excitements, or sad lows, everything on a level, a constant of great calm and silence, energy seems alive, running through the body, back ground has that light wind blowing. I've been here for the last few days, not sure what got me here, but I'am, and it's strangely wonderful, wonder how long I can stay here, have you ever been here?

Remember it. It is where we are supposed to go when we meditate. Getting to this place and/or space also happens as a result of a sweat lodge. We call it numb brain. It is a time when the answers that we seek can come to us.

Hi Robert,
I have been in this place, but not as often as I'd have liked. Every so often, especially if I've been stuck in that whirlwind place of chaos and uncertainty for too long physically and emotionally. It's like my mind says, that's it, enough. And I switch off. It's the eye of the storm that I think over time, I'd have gone crazy without.
Sometimes it will just happen spontaneously. At other times, it's when I've got into a regular practice of meditation. Then when I start to feel the benefit of it, I think ok I feel better now, and start neglecting it. Which is stupied I know. I do so admire people who have made it a regular part of their every day life.
I love the words you've used Robert, they are so beautifully descriptive.

Like Ishtahota, I believe it will come and go in your life, Robert Yes, it's Wonderful; I associate it with balance and harmony and spirit and vibration and Lots of things now...for me its like being somewhere between 'in the eye of the storm', and 'cruising at 30,000 feet'. lol We are Meant to go through it, going 'in and out of it', in our aim for that single, vibrational ONEness...enjoy. Remember. Seek it out, but do not become disheartened when you are not There, for a time. It's part of the journey

That is exactly it Ishtahota, 'numb brain'. I am such an 'emotional' person. And when I get numb brain, its as if my emotional connection to my thoughts is 'switched off', and I can think clearly. Focusing on one thing, rather than all these random offshoots that come when I have a really strong emotional attachment to what I'm thinking about. In numb brain there is no 'fear brain' either. Which for me is like a healing balm on a mind that can be at times in real pain.
Sweat lodges are fascinating to me. When you get time, I would love to hear a little about your experiences in participating in this Native American tradition.

some call that The Quiet Mind also... and contains what the Buddhist's call "Equanimity" in mind, emotions and spirit --- it touches the Essence of our being and Being-Here-Now.

Oh Robert...so glad you made it Enjoy and savour in it. It is the space where we cease to be and become one with everything... You have discribed it beautifully and I miss it. Allowing the 'self' to fall away and as it does you feel so small but you are not small...you are expanding...merging with all there is...where consciousness expands to the point of everything...to the beginning and end...to the nothingness and oneness of all there is... Enjoy my friend and thank you for sharing your journey with us Love and Light

Hi all, thank you all for your wonderful comments, I would have replied earlier, but, kind of a bit floaty at the moment, and have laughter bubbling up from inside, accumulating in a big grin, funny how serious you can look when you try to stop yourself grinning all the time, once again, many thanks, Robert.
