What is your lucky number and what does it mean to you?. I myself seem to have a lot of luck with numbers that end 01. For instance 501, 401, 301 etc where ever i go a number ending this way always seems to bring me good luck.

Have you any stories of numbers that bring good or bad luck to you?

I always feel three is lucky for me, as I was born on the third day of the third month, which also happened to be my father's birthday. By a spooky coincidence, my son was born on 14th of the 11th, just missing our wedding anniversary by 10 minutes.........I feel the way Jess does about numbers appearing twice during the day - I glanced up from work yesterday at my digital clock and saw that it was 4:44:44 - now that is an omen - just not sure entirely what it means..........any ideas? I often see 11:11:11 too. It is odd that you choose that precise moment to look at a clock.......and it is as if something clicks.

I often wake in the night and look at the clock and it says 3.33am. I was born on the 3rd and I am one of 3 sisters born to a mother who was one of 3 and I have 3 children. Yes, I would say 3 is a significant number for me, but lucky..not sure.

I have had the experience of noticing the dates this year when it was the 06.06.06. That made me feel goose bumpy. But I think maybe it is a superstition thing. I was chatting to someone about superstitions, and he said, that superstition is part of our psyche..It goes right back to ancient times, when as a race, when we worshiped the sun and the moon..and often made sacrifices..even blood ones to appease those deities that watched over us.

I believe mankind has become far too technologised..(probably spelt wrong, but u get my meaning) that we have suppressed a lot of our basic instincts that really did help us and even saved our lives. We have stopped listening to our intuition our inner voice. But its still there, maybe suppressed..and it comes out when we read our stars, or we refuse to walk under ladders, or avoid black cats..lol or is it the opposite, black cats are lucky..personally, I love them and think there lucky. Refuse to get out of bed on Friday 13th..unless you are wearing something green..lol Underwear is good..

There are people who do numerology, and they really believe that numbers can affect our lives. There are sites which offer the facility to have a numerology reading. I have had mine done, and really didn't understand it..but it is fascinating. I am not a numbers person, I am a letters, pictures person..but there are a lot of musicians who are mathematically minded and they would say there is pattern and sound in numbers.. science is about formulas made up of numbers and patterns..and that is extremely creative. I wish I knew more, but don't...

I agree that I am not a numbers person, either, Karen, but I love words and expressions and feelings. I think the world could almost be divided into numbers and letters people, cos the person I work with, only two women in the office, she is numbers and she cant spell or express herself when it comes to writing letters but she is a demon with adding, all sorts of complicated sums, me I prefer to be prolific with my words - in other words, she would say, I talk too much!! lol. I actually love to be able to use beautiful language, but there is also another school of thought which says that numbers have a geomancy about them not too sure about this, but something to do with ancient sciences and the building of the pyramids along mathematical lines, there is something in this too, perhaps from many years ago. I would love to know where I can get a numerology reading done free, that sounds like fun. I know my life number is 8 though. I dont know about green underwear though, sounds awful!! And 13 is lucky for me, I was married on Friday 13th a deliberate flouting the convention of it being unlucky and I have been happily married for many years and am having my 17th Wedding anniversary on 13th November so must have worked!!

i think 17 is a good number.. there was something about the 17th of oct. and there is a great concert on the 17th of nov.. i also see alot of 7:17, 7:07.. at the clock

and 12:11 & 11:12 too
like i would look at the clock on 12:11 in the morning and once again at night.

the 17th for me is a reminder to think positively. it reminds me that my thoughts come true. so i better watch out for them.

about 11:11 i once read that it's like a wake up call from spirit guides or angels..
like feathers, lights, seeing same repeated numbers, bulbs turning off and on, flower smells and music coming out of nowhere..

once was down, i saw a feather falling from in front of me in the street. i thought it could be angels. again when i went home i asked for another sign i looked at the clock it was 11:11.

and oneday i was talking to my bestfriend on the cell phone. we were talking spiritual. and suddenly we lost contact. i then called her back. she said it was 11:11 when the phone shut down and our call duration was 11:11 seconds.

i think it was a sign that what we were saying was right.
we were talking about God and religions.
