Hello from southern England

Ah, having asked on another thread where to introduce myself, I think I've just found the answer!

I'm a 55 year old female originally from London but currently in the south. I've lived all over the place but think I'll be staying here for a while. I was brought up without any particular faith, other than a bit of 'folk' Christianity but somehow ended up as a 'professional' Christian; I'm still not sure how!

Over the past five years I've found that traditional Christianity gives me more questions than answers: I've never had any patience for those who claim that 'their' faith is the only path. 

So here I am, ready to learn....

It is really lovely to meet you.

We are a group of people who come from different cultures, backgrounds and spiritual beliefs. So it makes for some very interesting reading, and discussion. I myself am a Christian and believe in God and Jesus, but tend to consider myself as a spiritual person, rather then a religious one. In that I am open to the beliefs of others, and feel that there is much wisdom to be found in their holy books and words. I believe, just as many rivers move towards the great sea, the different faiths are all taking us to the same source, the same place.

I also am a Reiki healer, and have a great interest in all aspects of healing or energy work. I am focused on self growth and self realization. So I also have a real leaning towards the Buddhist beliefs. A big interest of mine is Dreams and their interpretation.

I look forward to reading your posts and getting to know you better. I am sure you will enjoy it here and will soon get to know people.
