Why is it so hard for us to love ourselves?
So many come to chat and the forum with relationship worries and problems and have questions and seek answers.
We as a race cannot love others until we learn to love and respect ourselves first. I mean we all have little issues about confidence, self image etc, but that is only our superficial being or our outer side,...but at our core, that is where our true self is, our true essence.
It’s nearly impossible to go through life without family, friends and society molding us or pigeon holing us into what is considered the ‘norm’. Well we are ‘not’ normal each of us is Unique!
Each of us has our own gifts and talents. Some of us are aware of them and some of us are not YET but all of us have something that contributes to this life, ALL OF US.
Most people have a desire to attract and feel love, and that is natural as it is in most of nature. Each desires at some point to have a mate, a lifelong friend who we can love and be loved.
So how do we ‘find’ that one person out of billions on our planet?
Well I don’t think we find one person, I think we find many throughout our lives, many that teach us more about ourselves and learn from many, and with each relationship we either take or build from it, but ‘True Love’ in my opinion is not merely found its drawn to our inner self. True love recognises part of itself within another and there is where the connection is made.
So that is why it’s so very important to Love yourself first as you want to draw the attention of the best possible love for you. Many find that they go from one ‘bad’ relationship to another, that is because deep down they feel they are not worthy of anything else.
Everyone dreams of the fairytale but few manage to live it. Why?
Relationships need work and energy not just with the other person but with ourselves first. How can we share with another that which we don’t have ourselves? True love feeds one another equally, where two truly become one in the essence of love.
Another thing, it’s ok to say “I LOVE MYSELF” because in doing so, you are affirming that you are worthy of love being loved.
I just wanted to share this from the bottom of my heart, because we are ALL worth it
LOVE and Light xxxx
I've included a youtube video of the famous Beetles Song "All you need is Love". Enjoy the music and please read the amazing lyrics...and above all Sing Along
