I dreamed yesterday about Heavy Rain very very Heavy Rain winds that could possibly blow stronger then 120km p/hour and I see the air is dark with heavy clouds then sudenly the wind starts to spin in a circle this forming a Tornado/Cyclone and spinning itself up from the grounds in the air I see people caught of guard and trying to shelter themself for safety in my dream its a very heavy storm this one, but it doesn't seem to cause much damage as it just drifts over.

Rain in dream symbology represents a cleansing, in preparation for emotional growth. Heavy rain signifies changes emotionally, maybe tough ones, but it is only temporary.
The strong winds are to do with change, big winds, big changes. The air is dark, with heavy clouds. The darkness is making it difficult for you to see what is happening. This too could indicate that the changes that may be coming, at this moment in time, not apparent to you.
A tornado, or hurricane are about strong changes. One can be caught in the centre of a emotional storm, rather then being in the eye of calmness. It is recommended if you feel this is applicable to you, to try to meditate on it and centre yourself. It will bring you the calmness you need to handle whatever life throws in your path and to see things with clarity.
The winds start to spin in a circle. Circles represent wholeness, completeness, no beginning and no end. The circle may mean you have completed a cycle or have grown into a wholeness of mind, body and spirit.
On another level, a spinning around in circles, may indicate you have reached a point in life, where you are not moving any further forward. Simply going around in circles. Only you know which of these situations may relate to you, how you feel life is moving for you, at this time.
You say in the dream you see people caught off guard. Trying to shelter themselves from the affects of the storm. These people are aspects of you Wilma. The dream may be a reflection of where you are at emotionally at this moment. Or maybe they are a warning from your higher self to pay close attention to your personal circumstances & relationships at time.
In waking life, often things happen around us, that we are on the surface oblivious to. The signs are too subtle for us to pick up on. But on an intuitive level, we do notice. Nuances of behaviour, changes in the energies of others around us, we pick up on. It is only when sleeping and the unconscious mind comes to the fore, do we digest that subtle information and sieve through its meaning.
The dream ends in a positive way. It is saying that though the changes that are coming, or are already here, may be difficult for you. If you stay calm and remain centred, you will come through them unscathed. It may be for a while a difficult and demanding time for you, but you will come through it, a stronger and wiser person for the experience.
On another level, as with all dreams, you may simply be picking up the upheaval and changes that are going on in the world around you.
