Good Morning All,
Can someone please interpret this for my son, cause he can't seem to believe me when I tell him not to worry.
In the last week he has dreamt twice that I died.
The first dream he said he was told it was something to do with my leg and that he got a call from my BF but he was laughing at the time he told him that there was something wrong with me and I only had a certain amount of time to live. He said when I came home I told him it wasn't serious don't worry about it and kept on entertaining my guests. He remembered some letters from the name of the disease but couldn't pronounce it. P. S. L.
The next dream he said again it was something to do with my leg but this time I was dead and he was crying and had to go live with this God Parent. He said they were out shopping then he saw me but I was dazzled out (dressed well, with lost of diamonds, as he put it) he asked is that my mother and just started crying ran out the store and into the car, where his god siblings were, then he said an old friend of mine that i haven't seen in years, jumped into the car and just started driving them and he woke up just before they went off the cliff?
Can someone please help me with this?
Thanks Much

Hello Venice, Though you are the subject of this dream, it is your son's dream. As it is his dream, all the people in the dream represent aspects of him. His personality, characteristics, strengths, fears and weaknesses. To see our mother in a dream, symbolises the need within for maternal closeness and the sense of security it brings. Needing to feel safe. This can happen to us in times of life when we are experiencing change. Especially as we leave our childhood behind and start to mature into adulthood. When we dream of death, it rarely if ever means a literal death. It is more do to with, the end of one phase of our life and the beginning of another. Again, this can be linked to growing up, maturing, bodies changing. When a young person dreams of seeing their mother die, it can also be that inside, they fear that as they grow up their relationship to the parent, especially our mother's will change. It is also a time, when they think about their own mortality and of those around them that they love. In that sense, fear of loss again, is more to do with their own anxiety, their worst fears, but the mind project's the fear outward. Often we act out our own worst fears in dream state, it can be mind's way of desensitising itself to this happening in real life. It is all really about fear of change. As young people go through puberty, their bodies go through dramatic changes, old cells do literally die off to be replaced by new ones. Death in dream state, is about transformation, shedding the old life to make way for the new one. In dream symbology, the legs represent our foundation in life. Motivation, mobilization, that enables us to meet, understand various lessons. The legs are important to us because of their ability to keep us grounded. Being grounded is important to us, as it keeps us rooted in the reality of every day life. It stops us from over intellectualising day to day issues, keeps things in perspective and helps us to stop worrying needlessly about them. So in one sense, your son's dream expresses his inner most fears, but the key to dealing with those fears lies in the symbolism of the legs. In the dream they are your legs, his mother's, but in dream symbology they are actually his legs. So I say to him, keep your feet on the ground, do not spend too much time in the head worrying, keep busy, take up something physical maybe like running or playing football. Things that will burn up nervous energy and are enjoyable. The more we do that connects us to the earth, the less we worry and just get on with enjoying life. As a young person, there is much to look forward too and he will have his mum around for many years to come to see him through those changes.. I hope this has helped venice. This is only my interpretation, please only take from it that which resonates with you, or your son and leave the rest.. If you are or your son has any questions about this interpretation, please don't hesitate to ask. Love and light
